Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE AN ARTICULATED KNOWLEDGE OF FORMAL ORGANIZATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS WHICH HAVE EDUCATIONAL NEEDS. THEY SHOULD KNOW HISTORICAL, LEGAL, SOCIOLOGICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL FRAMEWORKS TO READ THE PRESENT REALITY WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL SERVICES.
THROUGH THE STUDY OF HISTORICAL PROCESSES OF THE MODERN AGE, AS IMPORTANT PERIOD IN WHICH THERE ARE THE ORIGINS OF THE STATE, WITH ITS INSTITUTIONS, ORGANIZATIONS AND LEGAL SUBJECTS, THE OBJECTIVE IS TO OBTAIN A SUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE OF THE INSTITUTIONAL, POLITICAL, ADMINISTRATIVE, CULTURAL AND ECONOMICAL FACTORS OF THE PRESENT SOCIETY.

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE ORGANIZATIONS WILL BE MADE FUNCTIONALLY TO GIVE THE STUDENT CAPACITY TO CARRY OUT EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS.
THE COURSE, THEREFORE, THROUGH THE STUDY OF HISTORICAL DYNAMICS OF THE LOCAL AND NATIONAL TERRITORY, INCLUDED IN THE CONTEXT OF EUROPEAN EVENTS, MAKES TO PROVIDE THE CAPACITIES TO ANALYSE CRITICALLY HISTORICAL EVENTS, EVALUATING CAUSES, INTERRELATIONS AND DEVELOPMENTS, TO PERFORM COMPARISONS AND CONTEXTUALIZATIONS IN DIACHRONIC AND SYNCHRONIC PERSPECTIVE, IN ORDER TO ARGUE CORRECTLY.

THE COURSE PROMOTES A NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE OF THE NATIONAL AND LOCAL INSTITUTIONS IN WHICH THE FUTURE GRADUATE SHOULD WORK. IT PROPOSES THE STUDY OF CONCEPTS AND EVENTS RELATED TO THE ORIGIN OF THE "ITALIAN NATION", INTENDED AS A CULTURAL, HISTORICAL AND HISTORIOGRAPHIC FACTOR, AS A SENSE OF BELONGING AND BUILDING IDENTITY. IT WILL TAKE THE ANALYSIS OF THE MAIN HISTORIOGRAPHIC WORKS REALIZED ON THE HISTORY OF ITALY.
Teaching Methods
THIS TEACHING USES THE FOLLOWING METHODOLOGIES:
-LESSONS, ALSO USING MASS-MEDIA, WITH A FINAL DISCUSSION WITH STUDENTS.
-LECTURES BASED ON SHORT REPRESENTATIVE HISTORICAL TEXTS, WITH ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION BY THE WHOLE CLASS.
Verification of learning
FINAL ORAL EXAMINATION VERIFIES OBJECTIVES ABOUT KNOWLEDGE, CORRECT LANGUAGE, CRITICAL CAPACITIES. IT CONSISTS IN QUESTIONS ON THE SUBJECTS SUBMITTED DURING THE LESSONS AND REPERIBLE IN THE PRESCRIPTED BOOKS. IT CHECKS THE LEARNING OF THE CONTENTS, THE DISCUSSION CAPACITY, THE APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE.
