THE CLASS AIMS TO GIVE THE NECESSARY CRITICAL TOOLS TO UNDERSTAND TEXTS AND SUBJECTS POURPOSED: 1. THE XIX CENTURY'S AESTHETICS, FOCUSING ON THE HEGEL'S AESTHETIC. 2. THE STUDENT WILL IMPLEMENT THE GAINED KNOWLEDGE TO WORKS OF ART PROPOSED DURING THE CLASS. 3. E 4.: THE STUDENT WILL BE INVITED TO ELABORATE A PERSONAL OUTLOOK ABOUT THE THEMES PROPOSED DURING THE CLASS AND TO COMMUNICATE IT IN CONFRONT OF THE OTHER STUDENTS. 5. TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO CONFRONT THEORY AND EMPIRICAL CASES. |

HISTORY OF AESTHETIC THEORY A: THE CLASS IS DEVOTED TO A GROUNDING CHAPTER OF THE HISTORY OF MODERN AESTHETICS: THE XIX CENTRY''S AESTHETICS. PARTICULARLY FOCUSED ON THE CRITICAL CONFRONTATION BETWEEN PHILOSOPHICAL AND POETICAL ELABORATION OF THE AESTHETICAL THEMES. HISTORY OF AESTHETIC THEORY B: The class is devoted to a grounding chapter of the history of modern aesthetics: the Hegel''s Aesthetics. Particularly focused on the critical confrontation between the philosophical structure of the Aesthetic and the Hegel''s readings of the actual works of art. |
