Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO PROMOTE THE ACQUISITION OF THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL SKILLS, RESEARCH METHODS AND COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES IN THE FIELD OF PUBLIC ARCHAEOLOGY FOR THE PROMOTION AND ENHANCEMENT OF MATERIAL AND NON-MATERIAL HERITAGE AND THE CULTURAL IDENTITIES OF COMMUNITIES.
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO ACQUIRE THE THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL SKILLS, THE PRINCIPLES, THE OPERATIONAL TOOLS (FROM OPEN SCIENCE AND OPEN DATA TO THE FORMS OF SHARING AND PARTICIPATION FROM BELOW), ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES AND GUIDELINES OF THE FARO CONVENTION, OF COMMUNITY ARCHAEOLOGY , DISCIPLINE THAT AIMS AT THE SUSTAINABLE CULTURAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF TERRITORIES IN A CONSCIOUS AND SHARED WAY WITH THE COMMUNITIES..
THE ABILITY TO MAKE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN HISTORY/ARCHAEOLOGY AND OTHER FIELDS OF RESEARCH WILL BE A PRIMARY OBJECTIVE.
THE AIM IS TO TRAIN ARCHAEOLOGISTS AND PROFESSIONAL FIGURES WITH SPECIAL DESIGN SKILLS IN ORDER TO SUPPORT DECISION-MAKING, PROMOTION, ENHANCEMENT OF CULTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES AND SOCIAL INCLUSION.

Verification of learning
ORAL EXAM. THE TEST AIMS TO ASSESS THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED DURING THE COURSE AND THE ABILITY TO CRITICALLY COMMUNICATE THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL SKILLS OF THE DISCIPLINE.
