THIS TEACHING FURNISHES ADVANCED KNOWLEDGES ON THE SOCIO-TERRITORIAL CONTEXTS IN WHICH EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES ARE INCLUDED, GIVING ABILITS OF READING AND INTERPRETING TERRITORY, TO DESCRIBE AND TO MAP IT. LEARNING OUTCOMES: KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: - PROVIDE THE THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF GEOGRAPHY AND KNOWLEDGE CONCERNING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LANDSCAPE , LAND AND NATURAL SYSTEMS , SOCIO - CULTURAL, ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL FACTORS THAT DEFINE ITS ORGANIZATION , THE RELATIONSHIPS , THE PROCESSES OF TRANSFORMATION AND IDENTITY CONFIGURATION; - PROVIDING , IN ADDITION, KNOWLEDGE OF THE DIFFERENT METHODS DESIGNED TO ACHIEVE INSTRUMENTAL SKILLS FOR TEACHING THE DISCIPLINE . ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: - PROMOTE THE ACQUISITION OF SKILLS IN THE USE OF GEOGRAPHIC TOOLS , THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF GENERAL MAPS, THEMES , MENTAL , STATISTICAL SOURCES , SUBJECTIVE SOURCES , LITERARY AND ICONOGRAPHIC ; - FACILITATING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECTS AND EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS CONCERNING THE ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY , LANDSCAPE , CULTURAL HERITAGE , TO INTERCULTURAL PROCESSES AND GLOBALIZATION. |

THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE TEACHING IS CERTIFIED BY PASSING AN ORAL TEST WITH A THIRTY-YEAR EVALUATION. THE ORAL TEST CONSISTS OF AN INTERVIEW WITH QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSION ON THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENT IN THE TEACHING PROGRAM AND IS DESIGNED TO ENSURE THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ACQUIRED BY THE STUDENT, AS WELL AS TO TEST THE EXPOSURE CAPACITY USING THE APPROPRIATE TERMINOLOGY AND THE ABILITY TO INDEPENDENTLY ORGANIZE THE EXPOSURE ON THE SAME SUBJECTS WITH THEORETICAL CONTENT. |
