THE COURSE AIMS TO IMPROVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH THROUGH: -A REVISION OF THE PHONOLOGICAL AND SYNTACTIC SYSTEMS WITH A SPECIAL FOCUS ON SPECIALIZED VOCABULARY. - THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE AIMS AND FUNCTIONS OF WRITTEN ARGUMENTATIVE AND ORAL TEXTS (PRESENTATION AND DESCRIPTION OF EXHIBITIONS AND ONGOING PROJECTS AT THE BRITISH LIBRARY). - THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE INFORMATIVE STRUCTURE OF A WRITTEN AND ORAL TEXT. - CREATION OF (WRITTEN AND ORAL) TEXTS DEALING WITH THEMES THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE COURSE OF STUDY. COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS - ABILITY TO CLEARLY COMMUNICATE THE ESSENTIAL CONTENTS OF A SPECIALIZED TEXT THROUGH APPROPRIATE LEXICAL AND GRAMMATICAL CHOICES. - ABILITY TO CLEARLY INTERACT IN ARTICULATED CONVERSATIONS ON TOPICS OF PROFESSIONAL INTEREST. -USE OF CORRECT PRONUNCIATION |
