GENERAL OBJECTIVE THE COURSE AIMS TO MAKE THE STUDENT ACQUIRE THE BASIC KNOWLEDGE (THEORETICAL, PRACTICAL, TECHNICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE) NECESSARY FOR THE DESIGN, INSTALLATION AND MANAGEMENT OF A CONSTRUCTION SITE, DEALING WITH THE PROBLEMS INHERENT IN THE DIFFERENT STAGES OF ORGANIZATION AND THE PROFESSIONAL FIGURES INVOLVED: FROM THE CHOICE OF THE NECESSARY AND MOST APPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK, TO THE PREPARATION OF PROVISIONAL WORKS, TO THE CONTROL, STORAGE AND INSTALLATION OF MATERIALS INVOLVED IN THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS. AS WELL AS TO ACQUIRE BASIC KNOWLEDGE WITH REGARD TO THE CONTROL AND TESTING PROCEDURES OF PUBLIC WORKS. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING SKILLS THE STUDENT: - WILL KNOW THE CONSTRUCTION, ORGANIZATIONAL AND REGULATORY PROCESSES OF THE CONSTRUCTION SITE, AS WELL AS THE PROFESSIONAL FIGURES INVOLVED WITH THEIR ROLES, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; THE PROCEDURES INHERENT IN DEMOLITION ACTIVITIES AND THE PHASES OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE WORKS; - HE/SHE WILL UNDERSTAND THE INTERFERENCE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE WORKS AS WELL AS THE ENVIRONMENTAL RELATIONSHIPS, BETWEEN THE CONSTRUCTION SITE AND THE SURROUNDING NATURAL AND MAN-MADE ENVIRONMENT; - WILL BE FAMILIAR WITH THE PROCEDURES FOR INSPECTION AND TESTING OF PUBLIC WORKS. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: - EXAMINE AND PROCESS DOCUMENTS RELATED TO CONSTRUCTION SITE SAFETY (SOP, PSC; DUVRI, ETC.); - EXAMINE AND ELABORATE THE DOCUMENTS ACCOMPANYING THE ACCEPTANCE PHASES OF WORKS (ACCEPTANCE CHECKS, ACCEPTANCE REPORTS, STATIC ACCEPTANCE CERTIFICATES AND TECHNICAL-ADMINISTRATIVE ACCEPTANCE); - EXAMINE AND PROCESS DOCUMENTS ACCOMPANYING SCAFFOLD DESIGN; - USE SOFTWARE TO DIGITIZE EXECUTIVE PROCESSES (KEEPING OF WORK LOG, ACCOUNTING RECORDS, SAFETY DOCUMENTS, TESTING RECORDS, ETC.). AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO : - SELECT THE MOST APPROPRIATE ORGANIZATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS IN RELATION TO THE TYPE OF SITE AND THE COMPLEXITY OF THE WORK, AS WELL AS IN COMPLIANCE WITH CURRENT REGULATIONS; - EVALUATE THE MOST APPROPRIATE DEMOLITION TECHNIQUES ACCORDING TO THE PARTICULARITIES OF THE WORK AS WELL AS THE ENVIRONMENTAL CONTEXT; - SELECT ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY CRITERIA TO BE ADOPTED IN THE DESIGN OF THE SITE ORGANIZATION OF CIVIL AND INFRASTRUCTURAL WORKS, AND IN THE DESIGN OF DEMOLITION INTERVENTIONS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: - KNOW HOW TO WORK IN A TEAM AND MOTIVATE DESIGN CHOICES; - MOTIVATE AND RAISE AWARENESS TOWARD THE ADOPTION OF THE MOST APPROPRIATE PREVENTIVE AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES FOR THE PURPOSE OF WORKER SAFETY. LEARNING SKILLS. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: - KNOW HOW TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED AND BE ABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY LEARN NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN KNOWLEDGE AND REGULATIONS ON SAFETY AND HYGIENE AT TEMPORARY AND MOBILE CONSTRUCTION SITES; - KNOW HOW TO USE DIGITAL SYSTEMS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF WORKSITE DOCUMENTATION AND SAFETY; - PROCEED TO THE CONTINUOUS UPDATING OF THEIR KNOWLEDGE, THROUGH LITERATURE ANALYSIS AND THE HOLDING OF REFRESHER COURSES. |
