Objectives
The teaching is directed to the acquisition of knowledge and the comprehension of classification, morphology and virulence factors of the main microorganisms (bacteria and fungi) with particular reference to human microbiota, and apply the acquired concepts to herbal medicine field. Applying the acquired skills, the student should be able to understand basic bacteriology and mycology, so to deal both theoretically and practically with the different work situations that will be encountered.
