THE TEACHING PROGRAMME DEALS WITH THE CONSTITUTIONAL ELEMENTS OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND THE EXERCISE OF THEIR FUNCTIONS IN THE COMMUNITY OF STATES. IT AIMS TO PROVIDE THE STUDENT WITH: •THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE EVOLUTION OF THE PHENOMENON OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, •THEIR FUNCTIONING AND CENTRAL POSITION IN THE CONTEXT OF CURRENT INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS; •GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, WHICH ARE CONSIDERED FURTHER SUBJECTS OF INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY ALONGSIDE STATES; •THE MAJOR SCHOLARSHIP THEORIES AND LEGAL CASES PRACTICE ON THE MATTER. THE MAIN ABILITIES ACQUIRED BY THE STUDENT WILL BE: •THE ABILITY TO ANALYZE WITH A CRITICAL VIEW THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE VARIOUS GENERATIONS OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS UNTIL THE LATEST MODEL OF SOFT ORGANIZATIONS OR GROUPS OF STATES, AS WELL AS THE DIFFERENCES AMONG UNIVERSAL, REGIONAL AND SUB-REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONS. •ABILITY TO COMPARE AND CRITICALLY INTERPRET THE DATA PRACTICES OF THE VARIOUS INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES; •ABILITY TO TRANSFER TO AN AUDIENCE OF NON-SPECIALISTS THE MAIN CONCEPTS OF THE MATTER; •ABILITY TO IDENTIFY APPROPRIATE SOLUTIONS IN THE SPECIFIC SUBJECT AREA WITH PROPERTIES OF LANGUAGE AND GOOD ARTICULATION OF THOUGH. |

THE TEACHING PROGRAMME CONSISTS OF 72 HOURS OF LESSONS. IT INCLUDES ALSO COMMENTS AND EXERCISES ON ACTS OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND DECISIONS OF INTERNATIONAL COURTS ON THIS TOPIC. IT IS INTENDED FOR STUDENTS THAT ATTEND REGULARLY, WITH WHICH IT IS POSSIBLE TO DEFINE ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS. STUDENTS NOT ATTENDING WILL ALWAYS RESORT TO THE TEACHER FOR EXPLANATIONS. |

THE GOALS OF TEACHING IS CERTIFIED BY THE PASSING OF AN ORAL EXAMINATION. IT, FURTHERMORE, REQUIRES FOR ATTENDING STUDENTS: FINAL ORAL EXAM, WHICH TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION TO LECTURES AND THE READING OF DISTRIBUTED DOCUMENTS. IN ADDITION, STUDENTS CAN FACE SOME TESTS WITH PARTIAL OVERCOMING OF THE FINAL EXAM. FOR NOT ATTENDING STUDENTS FINAL EXAM EVALUATION CRITERIA OF THE EXAMINATION ARE: 1.ABILITY TO SPEAK WITH CLARITY AND LOGIC; 2.ABILITY TO FRAMING THE ISSUES; 3.ABILITY TO SYNTHESIZE THE MOST RELEVANT INFORMATIONS |
