Current position
Since October 2015, she is Associate Professor  in Mathematical Analysis at The University of Salerno.
Education
1998 First Degree in Mathematics at The University of Salerno. Final evaluation: 110/110 with commendation.
2004 Title of Doctor of Research (PHD) in Mathematics at The University of Naples “Federico II”, with a thesis on: “Some homogenization problems in composite materials”. Supervisors: Professors R. De Arcangelis and P. Donato.

1999 Annual fellowship from Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica “F. Severi” at The University of Naples “Federico II”.
1999-2003 Four-years' PHD studentship at The University of Naples.
2001 Three-months’ CNRS fellowship within the European project’s framework “Homogenization and Multiple Scales” at Laboratoire d’Analyse Numérique “J.L. Lions”, University Paris VI.

Since 1999, Sara Monsurrò attended several variation calculus schools and took part in many research workshops and seminars in Italy and abroad, often giving talks on her research results.
