PROVIDE KNOWLEDGE RELATED TO THE OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSES OF TEACHING BUSINESS ECONOMICS IN UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOLS, IN ITS DECLINATIONS BY FUNCTIONAL BUSINESS AREA. PRESENT THE MAIN BUSINESS CONCEPTS RELATED TO THE FUNCTIONAL AREAS OF THE BUSINESS. PROVIDE METHODOLOGIES, TECHNIQUES AND USEFUL TOOLS FOR PLANNING AND DELIVERING COMPANY COURSES IN UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOLS. PROVIDE KNOWLEDGE RELATED TO THE USE OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES USEFUL FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND CONDUCT OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. THE COURSE WILL BE ORIENTED TOWARDS KNOW-HOW AND WILL REQUIRE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF LEARNERS, IN ORDER TO ENCOURAGE PERSONAL GROWTH AND STIMULATE THE ACQUISITION OF AWARENESS OF THE SCIENTIFIC NATURE OF TEACHING. THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE PURPOSES, OBJECTIVES AND METHODS RELATING TO BUSINESS MANAGEMENT COURSES. THE COURSE IS FOR ALL THOSE WHO INTEND TO DEEPEN THE GENESIS OF MANAGERIAL SCIENCES AND INVESTIGATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE DIFFERENT METHODOLOGIES, TRADITIONAL AND INNOVATIVE, USEFUL IN SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY AND BUSINESS TRAINING. AT THE END OF THE COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: • KNOW THE EVOLUTION OF MANAGERIAL DISCIPLINES; • KNOW MAIN TOPICS OF CLASSICAL ECONOMICS AND BEHAVIORAL ECONOMICS; • UNDERSTAND THE PRINCIPLES OF PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE AND OF THE DIFFERENT INFERENCES (INDUCTIVE, DEDUCTIVE AND ABDUCTIVE) USEFUL IN SOCIAL SCIENCES AND TEACHING; • KNOW THE TEACHING METHODS FUNCTIONAL TO THE VARIOUS OBJECTIVES AND TRAINING SETTINGS; • KNOW THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF LEARNING AND UNDERSTAND THE MAIN TRANSVERSAL SKILLS, USEFUL IN THE ERA OF INDUSTRY 4.0. AT THE END OF THE COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED AND, THEREFORE, WILL KNOW: • PERFORM A MACRO-DESIGN OF AN EDUCATIONAL PATH; • ASSESS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ACTIONS RELATING TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE TRAINING NEEDS; • DESCRIBE THE DIFFERENT ALTERNATIVE FORMS OF ASSESSMENT OF LEARNING. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO EVALUATE FOR HIMSELF: • THE VALIDITY AND LIMITATIONS OF THE VARIOUS TEACHING METHODS APPLIED TO MANAGERIAL SCIENCES; • THE OPPORTUNITIES AND THREATS DERIVING FROM THE MANAGEMENT OF TRADITIONAL OR INNOVATIVE, FRONTAL OR EXPERIENTIAL, INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP TRAINING COURSES. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO HOLD CONVERSATIONS ON DIDACTIC EFFICACY ISSUES, REFERRING TO THE DIFFERENT MODELS OF SKILLS, APPLIED TO MANAGERIAL SCIENCES AND THE MANAGEMENT OF COMPLEX ORGANIZATIONS. THE STUDENT WILL GAIN AWARENESS OF THE DIFFERENT LEARNING PARADIGMS AND THE IMPORTANCE OF "LEARNING TO LEARN". |

THE COURSE INCLUDES 30 HOURS OF DIDACTICS (6 CREDITS). THE FOLLOWING TOPICS WILL BE FRONTAL LESSONS: - EVOLUTION OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCE AND BUSINESS THEORIES AND EPISTEMOLOGY AND INFERENCES IN EDUCATION (6 H) - FROM CLASSICAL ECONOMY TO BEHAVIORAL ECONOMY: HEURISTICS AND BIAS (6 H) - MACROPROJECTING, MICROPROJECTING OF EDUCATION, HARD SKILLS AND SOFT SKILLS (6 H) - EDUCATIONAL METHODS AND TRAINING EFFECTIVENESS (6 H) LABORATORY ACTIVITIES WILL BE: - LEARNING MODELS AND LEARNING EVALUATION (6 H). STUDENTS ARE FREE TO FOLLOW THE COURSE, EVEN IF PARTICIPATING IN THE LESSONS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. |
Verification of learning | |

THE FINAL EVALUATION WILL BE THE AVERAGE OF SCORES ACHIEVED IN PROJECT WORK AND ORAL EXAM. THE EXAM WILL BE HELD WITH AN ORAL INTERVIEW FOCUSED ON THE DEEPENING OF THE COURSE TOPICS AND TO THEIR UNDERSTANDING BY THE STUDENT. THE MINIMUM (18), WHEN THE LEARNER PRESENTS A FRAGMENTARY KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS OF THE COURSE AND A POOR ABILITY TO CONTEXTUALIZE THEM. THE MAXIMUM (30) IS ASSIGNED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES A COMPLETE KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS AND THE ABILITY TO OPERATE AUTONOMOUSLY THE CONCEPTUAL LINKS BETWEEN THEM. PRAISE IS GIVEN WHEN THE LEARNER DEMONSTRATES SIGNIFICANT MASTERY OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENT, ABILITY TO ARGUE WITH ADEQUATE LANGUAGE PROPERTIES AND THE ABILITY TO CONTEXTUALIZE THEM EVEN IN DIFFERENT CONTEXTS FROM THOSE PROPOSED BY THE TEACHER. |
