Objectives
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
THE CONSULTING AND CORPORATE TRAINING COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE INNOVATIVE TOOLS AND APPROACHES TO DESIGN TRAINING AND CONSULTANCY PROGRAMS FOR THE CORPORATE WORLD. THE OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL SKILLS TO BECOME BUSINESS CONSULTANTS AND TRAINERS, ALSO PROMOTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOFT SKILLS.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING SKILLS
AT THE END OF THE COURSE, STUDENTS WILL DEMONSTRATE A PROFOUND UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONCEPTS AND PRINCIPLES OF BUSINESS ECONOMICS. THEY WILL BE ABLE TO RECOGNIZE KEY EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES IN THE BUSINESS CONTEXT AND UNDERSTAND THEIR RELEVANCE FOR ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT. MOREOVER, THEY WILL BE CAPABLE OF DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING CORPORATE TRAINING MODULES EFFECTIVELY, UTILIZING ADVANCED METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS. LASTLY, THEY WILL KNOW HOW TO INTEGRATE TECHNOLOGY INTO THE PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF CORPORATE TRAINING ACTIVITIES.

Teaching Methods
THE COURSE IS STRUCTURED INTO 20 HOURS OF LECTURES AND 10 HOURS OF CLASSROOM EXERCISES. DURING THE LECTURES, STUDENTS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF THE FUNDAMENTAL ASPECTS OF CONSULTING AND CORPORATE TRAINING. CONVERSELY, CLASSROOM EXERCISES WILL ALLOW STUDENTS TO PUT THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE INTO PRACTICE, DEVELOPING APPLICATION SKILLS THROUGH PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES.
ADDITIONALLY, THE PROGRAM INCLUDES THE COMPLETION OF AN INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP PROJECT AIMED AT ENHANCING SPECIFIC SKILLS COVERED IN THE COURSE. DISCUSSION AND EVALUATION OF THE PROJECT WILL TAKE PLACE DURING DEDICATED CLASSROOM SESSIONS, AS WELL AS DURING INDIVIDUAL MEETINGS WITH THE INSTRUCTOR DURING OFFICE HOURS.
WHILE ATTENDANCE AT LECTURES IS NOT MANDATORY, STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE TO MAXIMIZE LEARNING AND ENGAGEMENT IN THE COURSE.
Verification of learning
THE EXAM WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE DATES SCHEDULED IN THE CALENDAR AND CONSISTS OF AN ORAL EXAMINATION AIMED AT VERIFYING THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND THE COMPLETION OF A PROJECT WORK. THE LATTER WILL ALLOW TO EVALUATE THE STUDENT'S ABILITY TO SYSTEMATICALLY CONNECT THE DIFFERENT TOPICS ADDRESSED DURING THE COURSE AND DEMONSTRATE THE SKILLS RELATED TO EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION.
THE ORAL EXAM WILL CONSIST OF A DISCUSSION FOCUSED ON DEEPENING THE TOPICS COVERED DURING THE COURSE AND THE STUDENT'S UNDERSTANDING OF THEM. THE DISCUSSION WILL INCLUDE QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSIONS ON THE CONTENTS OUTLINED IN THE TEACHING PROGRAM, IN ORDER TO ASSESS THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ACHIEVED BY THE STUDENT, AS WELL AS THEIR ABILITY TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES CLEARLY AND INDEPENDENTLY, EVALUATING LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY, LOGICAL-DEDUCTIVE SKILLS, SYNTHESIS, ARGUMENTATION, AND JUDGMENT AUTONOMY.
THE MINIMUM GRADE (18) WILL BE AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES FRAGMENTED KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS COVERED IN THE COURSE AND LIMITED ABILITY TO CONTEXTUALIZE THEM.
THE MAXIMUM GRADE (30) WILL BE AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES A COMPLETE AND IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS, AS WELL AS THE ABILITY TO ESTABLISH CONCEPTUAL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THEM INDEPENDENTLY.
HONORS WILL BE AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES SIGNIFICANT MASTERY OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS, THE ABILITY TO ARGUE THEM WITH ADEQUATE LANGUAGE AND THE ABILITY TO CONTEXTUALIZE THEM INDEPENDENTLY EVEN IN CONTEXTS OTHER THAN THOSE PROPOSED BY THE TEACHER.
