GENERAL AIM: KNOWLEDGE OF THE NOTIONS OF ECONOMICS AND APPRAISAL RELEVANT TO THE ENGINEER IN THE DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT OF CIVIL WORKS AND URBAN REGENERATION PROCESSES. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: ACQUISITION OF THE PRINCIPLES OF THE APPRAISAL DISCIPLINE, OF THE OPERATIONAL METHODOLOGY AND OF THE REGULATORY FRAMEWORK GUIDING THE APPRAISER IN MAKING ECONOMIC VALUE JUDGEMENTS CONCERNING MARKETABLE GOODS AND SERVICES. BE ABLE TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: TO BE ABLE TO CRITICALLY READ DOCUMENTS AND INFORMATION TO BE CONSIDERED IN THE EVALUATION, TO KNOW THE SOURCES OF DATA, TO BE ABLE TO DRAW UP THE TECHNICAL-ECONOMIC REPORT (APPRAISAL OR OTHER) TRACING THE LOGICAL PHASES OF THE VALUATION JUDGEMENT. MAKING JUDGEMENTS: ABILITY TO IDENTIFY THE ECONOMIC ASPECT ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE OF THE ESTIMATE, TO ANALYSE AND PROCESS MARKET DATA, TO CHOOSE THE ESTIMATIVE PROCEDURE TO BE USED. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: TO BE ABLE TO WORK IN A TEAM, CLEARLY REPRESENTING THE ROLE OF THE DISCIPLINE AND THE RESULTS OF ONE'S WORK. THE COURSE INCLUDES LECTURES AND PRACTICE, DURING WHICH ARE ILLUSTRATED PRACTICAL EXAMPLES OF THE THEORETICAL PRINCIPLES. THE STUDENTS, DIVIDED IN WORK GROUPS, DEVELOP AN OPERATIVE CASE OF ESTIMATE. DETAILS ABOUT HOURS LESSONS AND APPLICATIONS ARE ILLUSTRATED IN THE PREVIOUS SECTION. FOR LESSONS: 4,6 CFU; FOR APPLICATIONS: 1,4 CFU. FOR THIS COURSE THE ATTENDANCE IS COMPULSORY FOR THE 70 PER CENT OF THE LESSONS. |

THE EVALUATION OF LEARNING OUTCOMES, CONDUCTED WITHIN THE FINAL EXAM, IS PERFORMED IN REFERENCE TO THE FOLLOWING EQUAL CRITERIA: A. PROPERTIES OF LANGUAGE OF THE CANDIDATE WITHIN THE TECHNICAL LANGUAGE OF THE DISCIPLINE; B. KNOWLEDGE OF THE POSTULATES AND OF THE BASIC LOGIC; C. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO SOLVING OF THE MAIN APPLICATIVE ISSUES ILLUSTRATED DURING THE LESSONS; D. ABILITY TO SUMMARY OF BASIC CONCEPTS TO SOLUTION OF THE NEW APPLICATIVE ISSUES; E. LEVEL OF DETAILS OF PROJECT PAPERS DEVELOPED DURING THE LESSONS. THE FINAL EXAMINATION IS AN INDIVIDUAL ORAL TEST AND THE RESULT OF THIS EXAM IS ASSESSED IN THIRTIETH. THE DURATION OF THE TEST IS PROPORTIONAL TO THE VERIFICATION OF THE LEARNING OF THE CONTENTS OF THE PROGRAM. ON AVERAGE, THE DURATION IS ABOUT 30 MINUTES. THE MINIMUM VOTE FOR PASSING THE EXAMINATION (18/30) IS AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES A LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL NOTIONS AND A BARELY SATISFACTORY ABILITY TO SOLVE APPLICATION PROBLEMS. THE MAXIMUM VOTE (30/30) IS AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES A COMPLETE AND IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF ALL THE TOPICS COVERED DURING THE COURSE, EXPLAINING THEM WITH PROPRIETY OF LANGUAGE. IN ORDER TO OBTAIN 30/30 CUM LAUDE, IT IS CONSIDERED: - THE QUALITY OF EXPOSURE, IN TERMS OF USE OF APPROPRIATE SCIENTIFIC LANGUAGE; - THE ABILITY OF TRANSVERSAL CORRELATION BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT ARGUMENTS OF THE COURSE AND, WHERE POSSIBLE, WITH OTHER DISCIPLINES; - THE PROVED AUTONOMY OF MAKING JUDGMENT. |
