THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE BASIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ON THE ROLE THAT EMOTIONAL AND MOTIVATIONAL ASPECTS HAVE IN THE LEARNING PROCESS. PARTICULAR ATTENTION WILL BE PAID TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TEACHING AND LEARNING SETTING. |

DURING THE COURSE THE MAIN THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF PSYCHOLOGY WILL BE COVERED, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE ANALYSIS OF EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN RELATION TO SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT. PART OF THE LESSONS WILL BE DEVOTED TO THE PRESENTATION OF RESEARCH THAT EXAMINES THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMOTION, COGNITIVE, SOCIAL AND CONTEXTUAL ASPECTS. FINALLY, DURING THE LESSONS WILL BE DEALT WITH ISSUES CONCERNING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMOTIONS AND THE LEARNING PROCESS. |

Verification of learning | |

THE FINAL PROOF IS AN ORAL PROOF BASED ON THE PRESCRIBED BOOKS. THE EVALUATION OF THE ORAL PROOF WILL TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED AS WELL AS THE ACCURACY OF THE LANGUAGE. FOR STUDENTS WHICH ATTEND REGULARLY TO THE LECTURES, THE TEACHER WILL PROPOSE ALSO INTERMEDIATE PROOFS IN ORDER TO MAKE EASIER THE FINAL PROOF. THE WRITTEN TEST SHALL CONSIST OF A TEST OF AT LEAST 30 MULTIPLE-CHOICE QUESTIONS. THE ORAL TEST WILL FOCUS ON THE DISCUSSION OF AT LEAST 3 DIFFERENT TOPICS. |
