Educational Objectives: expected learning outcomes and competence to be acquired The course aims at providing the tools for a critical analysis of texts. At the end of the course, students must be able to carry out a structural analysis (syntactic and semantic) of the texts. Knowledge and understanding Provide students with the essential elements to understand and broaden the cognitive and metacognitive components involved in the verbal comprehension process from the point of view of developmental psychology. The main empirical contributions oriented to the study of the reasoning processes at the basis of many mental activities will be presented, such as, for example, in the understanding of a speech or a text, in making a decision or solving a problem. Understanding of the forms of deductive and inductive reasoning. Applying knowledge and understanding Knowing how to identify errors and distortions that characterize problem-solving strategies through the awareness of the cognitive processes involved in reasoning. Making judgement Knowing how to identify and choose different strategies for solving tasks. Communication skills Knowing how to document the work done in oral and written form. Learning skills Expand the reflection processes that students use in learning situations. |
