ACCORDING TO UNIVERSITY RULES, ATTENDANCE IS NOT MANDATARY. MODULE 2. CONVENTIONAL AND INNOVATIVE GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS AND MONITORING, 60 HOURS THE COURSE FAVORS A DISTINCTLY APPLICATIVE APPROACH AND INCLUDES THEORETICAL FRONTAL LECTURES (3 CFU), CLASSROOM EXERCISES (2 CFU), STUDENT AND FIELD GROUP ACTIVITIES, DIDACTIC MEETINGS WITH EXPERTS, PROFESSIONALS AND COMPANIES OPERATING IN THE FIELD OF GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS AND MONITORING, TECHNICAL VISITS (1 CFU). THERE IS NO MANDATORY ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT. |

MODULE 1 ENVIRONMENTAL GEOTECHNICS, 60 HOURS THE ASSESSMENT OF THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE ESTABLISHED OBJECTIVES TAKES PLACE THROUGH AN ORAL EXAM, AT THE END OF THE MODULE, CONCERNING THE TOPICS PRESENTED DURING THE LESSONS AND THE DISCUSSION OF A CASE STUDY OR A PROJECT DETAILED BY THE STUDENT DURING THE TUTORIAL. THE ORAL EXAM CONSISTS OF AN INTERVIEW IN WHICH THE LEVEL OF THE STUDENT'S THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE IS ASSESSED ON MODULE TOPICS. THE EXAMINATION IS ALSO AIMED AT DEEPENING THE AUTONOMY OF ANALYSIS AND JUDGMENT AND THE STUDENT'S EXHIBITION SKILLS. THE EVALUATION TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY, AND CLARITY OF THE ANSWERS, AS WELL AS THE READINESS DEMONSTRATED BY THE STUDENT IN THE PRESENTATION OF THE TOPICS. THE FINAL GRADE IS EXPRESSED IN THIRTIETHS WITH POSSIBLE "LAUDE". THE MINIMUM LEVEL OF ASSESSMENT (18) IS ASSIGNED WHEN THE STUDENT HAS A PIECEMEAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE TOPICS COVERED AND SHOWS A LIMITED ABILITY TO USE THEM IN THE CONTEXT OF THE STUDY. THE MAXIMUM LEVEL (30) IS ASSIGNED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES A COMPLETE AND IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF THE METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS AND HAS A CONSIDERABLE ABILITY TO USE THEM IN THE CONTEXT OF STUDY. PRAISE IS GIVEN WHEN THE CANDIDATE DEMONSTRATES SIGNIFICANT MASTERY OF METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS AND SHOWS CONSIDERABLE OWNERSHIP OF LANGUAGE AND AUTONOMOUS PROCESSING SKILLS EVEN IN CONTEXTS DIFFERENT FROM THOSE PROPOSED BY THE TEACHER. MODULE 2. CONVENTIONAL AND INNOVATIVE GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS AND MONITORING, 60 HOURS THE EVALUATION OF THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE SET OBJECTIVES WILL TAKE PLACE THROUGH TWO TESTS AT THE END OF THE COURSE: - AN ORAL INTERVIEW DIVIDED INTO THREE QUESTIONS AIMED AT VERIFYING THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE TOPICS COVERED IN CLASS AND DURING THE TUTORIALS. - THE DISCUSSION AT THE END OF THE COURSE OF A CASE STUDY DEEPENED BY THE STUDENT IN THE FIELD OF GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS MONITORING IN THE CONTEXT OF A GROUP WORK. THE RESULT OF THE FINAL EVALUATION OF THE LEARNING WILL RESULT IN AN OVERALL JUDGMENT THAT TAKES INTO ACCOUNT BOTH THE ORAL INTERVIEW AND THE GROUP WORK. FOR THE PURPOSES OF “CUM LAUDE”, ACCOUNT WILL BE TAKEN OF: - THE QUALITY OF EXPOSURE, IN TERMS OF THE USE OF APPROPRIATE SCIENTIFIC LANGUAGE; - THE TRANSVERSAL CORRELATION CAPACITY BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT TOPICS OF THE COURSE AND, WHERE POSSIBLE, WITH OTHER DISCIPLINES; - AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT . THE FINAL OUTCOME OF THE EXAM WILL RESULT FROM THE AVERAGE OF THE MARKS ASSIGNED ON EACH MODULE. |
