Antonio SELLITTO Curriculum

In 2004 gets the university degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Department of Space Science and Engineering “Luigi G. Napolitano” - University of Naples “Federico II”. In 2005 becomes a member of the register of engineers of Salerno (Italy) – n° 4840.

In 2010 gets the PhD in “Mathematical Methods and Models for Dynamical Systems” (MAT/07 – Mathematical Physics, XXII cycle), at Department of Mathematics and Computer Science – Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Science of the University of Basilicata. His PhD thesis has been awarded in 2012 by INdAM-SIMAI as one of the best thesis.

He has been both an Assistant Professor of Mathematical Physics (from 07-03-2016 to 21-12-2018), and a Tenure-track Associate Professor of Mathematical Physics (from 21-12-2018 to 20-12-2021) at the Department of Industrial Engineering of University of Salerno.

He's currently a confirmed Associate Professor of Mathematical Physics S.S.D. MATH-04/A (Mathematical Physics) - G.S.D. 01/MATH-04 (Mathematical Physics) at the Department of Industrial Engineering of University of Salerno.

He is author of more than 70 scientific papers (h-index 24 with 1508 citations – Source: Scopus/May 2024; h-index 24 with 1456 citations - Source: Web-of-Science/May 2024). He also wrote the book "Mesoscopic Theories of Heat Transport in Nanosystems" published by Springer in 2016.

His scientific activity mainly regards

  • Non-local and non-liner theory of heat transfer at nanoscale.
