Barbara MARTINUCCI Curriculum
Barbara Martinucci is Associate Professor of Probability and Mathematical Statistics in the Department of Mathematics of the University of Salerno. She graduated cum laude in Mathematics in 2000 at University of Naples “Federico II” and received her PhD in Applied Mathematics and Informatics in 2005. In the period 17/12/2004 - 16/06/2005 she has been granted a research fellowship within the PRIN project “Metodi analitici ed algoritmi per modelli stocastici di dinamica neuronali” at Department of Mathematics and Informatics, University of Salerno. In October 2005 she awarded a 3 year post-doc grant by University of Salerno for a research project on stochastic processes. In the period 1/11/2008 - 30/09/2020 she has worked as Assistant Professor at the University of Salerno.
Her research interests include theory and simulation of stochastic processes with application to biomathematical modeling. She is also interested in problems of reliability, and its applications to other fields, such as stochastic modeling. She is author of several publications appeared mainly in international journals and proceedings of international meetings.
She attended international Summer Schools regarding probability and statistics and gave several contributed talks to International Conferences and Workshops.
She has been referee for many international journals, and serves as reviewer for Mathematical Reviews.
