Objectives
EXAMIN THE WITNESSES OF MATERIAL CULTURE AND THE VARIOUS ASPECTS OF ARTISANIAN PRODUCTION OF THE ANCIENT WORLD FROM THE ARCHAEIC ERA TO THE ROMAN LETTER WITH A PARTICULAR WARNING TO ARCHEOLOGICAL INDICATORS. TOGETHER A KNOWLEDGE ON THE CHARACTERIZATION, THE PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES AND THE STUDY OF THE MAIN MATERIAL CLASSES (CERAMIC, METALS, GLASS ECC.) AND THE TECHNICAL ASPECTS RELATING TO BUILDING (MATTONS, STONES, MALTE, ECC.) IN THEIR CRONOLOGICAL CONTESTS AND TERRITORIALS.

KNOWLEDGE AND CAPACITY OF COMPRESSION AND CAPACITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND COMPRESSION:
THE TEACHING IS PROPOSED, OFFERING A THEORY AND PRACTICAL PREPARATION ALSO OF SPECIALIST CHARACTER TO USE AND CONDUCT WITH CRITICAL SPIRIT FIELD RESEARCH AND LABORATORY. THROUGH SELECTED TEXT BOOKS AND ADAPTED INFORMATIC DATA-BASED SUPPORTS YOU PREVIEW THAT STUDENTS FIND A KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN PROBLEMS LINKED TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE DIFFERENT CLASSES OF MATERIALS IN THE ANTICO WORLD, BUYING THE INSTRUMENTS HELD TO THEIR INTERPRETATION. APPLICATION OF LARGE METHODOLOGICAL INSTRUMENTS STIMULATES THE ACHIEVEMENT OF JUDICIAL AUTONOMY AND THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE THE CONTENTS BY APPRESI. YOU ALSO INTEND TO DEVELOP AUTONOMY LEARNING CAPACITY THROUGH THE READING AND THE COMMENT OF STUDIES.

WE RECOMMEND A THROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ARCHAEOLOGICAL RECORDS OF THE ANCIENT WORLD.

THE COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PARTS: THE FIRST IS DEDICATED TO THE MATERIAL CULTURE WHOSE STUDY REVEALS TODAY EXTREMELY COMPLEX AND ARTICULATED; THE SECOND IS DISENDED WITH THE STUDY OF THE AREE AND THE CRAFT DISTRICTS OF MAGNA GRAECIA; THE THIRD PART WILL DEAL WITH ISSUES RELATED TO THE DEFINITION OF THE CLASSIFICATION SYSTEMS (TYPOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION, FUNCTIONAL CLASSIFICATION).
Teaching Methods
STUDENTS, THROUGH LECTURES SUPPORTED BY APPROPRIATE EDUCATIONAL TOOLS, WILL ACQUIRE THE GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF METHODOLOGICAL ISSUES RELATED TO PRODUCTION AND MATERIAL CULTURE OF THE ANCIENT WORLD. DURING THE LECTURES WILL BE DISCUSSED THE MAIN BIBLIOGRAPHICAL INSTRUMENTS IN ORDER TO ENABLE STUDENTS TO ACQUIRE THE TOOLS TO SET UP THE ANALYSIS OF THE MATERIAL CULTURE OF THE ANCIENT SITE.
