Research interest:

Dr. Morello’s work is focused on:

  1. Role of adenosinergic system in inflammatory-associated disease, including cancer.
  2. Cellular and molecular bases of the adenosinergic signaling.
  3. Pharmacology of adenosine receptors and adenosine-generating enzymes modulators
  4. Cancer immunotherapy, biomarker, predictive factors of therapy response
