Research interest:
Dr. Morello’s work is focused on:
- Role of adenosinergic system in inflammatory-associated disease, including cancer.
- Cellular and molecular bases of the adenosinergic signaling.
- Pharmacology of adenosine receptors and adenosine-generating enzymes modulators
- Cancer immunotherapy, biomarker, predictive factors of therapy response
