THIS COURSE IS OF 12 CREDITS AND CONSISTS OF 60 HOURS OF LECTURES, IN WHICH WILL BE ALTERNATED - ACCORDING TO THE DIDACTIC NEEDS - HOURS OF LECTURES AND HOURS OF EXERCISES. DURING THE HOURS OF LECTURES WILL BE EXPOSED ALL THE CONTENTS OF THE COURSE, WHILE THE EXERCISES WILL BE DEDICATED TO THE CARRYING OUT OF EXERCISES NECESSARY TO CONSOLIDATE THE NOTIONS EXPOSED IN THE TEACHING HOURS AND TO TAKE THE FINAL. STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE USE OF AN E-LEARNING SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR EXERCISES AND SELF-ASSESSMENT (A DIRECT LINK TO THE EXERCISES WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE TEACHER'S PERSONAL PAGE). THE ONLINE MODE WILL BE SUPPLEMENTED BY MEETINGS AND TESTS WITH THE LECTURER. |
Verification of learning | |
---|---|
THE EXAM CONSISTS OF A WRITTEN TEST (LASTING TWO HOURS) DIVIDED INTO FIVE SECTIONS. THE WRITTEN TEST IS PRECEDED BY 7 BASIC QUESTIONS (TWO FOR GRAMMAR AND ONE FOR EACH SECTION OF THE TEST). THE CORRECT ANSWER TO AT LEAST 5 OF THESE 7 BASIC QUESTIONS IS PRELIMINARY AND ESSENTIAL FOR THE CORRECTION OF THE TEST, SO IF YOU DO NOT ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS CORRECTLY, THE TEST IS CONSIDERED INSUFFICIENT. THE SECTIONS OF THE WRITTEN TEST ARE STRUCTURED AS FOLLOWS: 1)GENERAL SECTION, WHICH CONTAINS QUESTIONS OF SEMIOTICS, ON WORLD LANGUAGES AND LINGUISTIC VARIABILITY; 2)PHONETICS AND PHONOLOGY; 3)MORPHOLOGY; 4)SYNTAX; 5)SEMANTICS, LEXICON AND PRAGMATICS. EACH SECTION CONTAINS OPEN QUESTIONS AND CLOSED OR MULTIPLE QUESTIONS. FOR EACH EXERCISE IS GIVEN THE HIGHEST RATING. THE SUM OF THE SCORES OBTAINED IN EACH APPLICATION WILL BE THE MARK OF EACH SECTION. EACH SECTION HAS A MINIMUM SCORE THAT MUST BE REACHED: IF THIS MINIMUM SCORE IS NOT REACHED THERE WILL BE A DEDUCTION OF ONE POINT. THE FINAL MARK WILL BE CALCULATED BY ADDING THE SCORES OBTAINED IN EACH SECTION (PLUS THE POINTS FOR PASSING THE BASIC QUESTIONS), AND CALCULATING POSSIBLE PENALTIES. THE MINIMUM MARK TO PASS THE EXAM IS 18/30. THE EXAM TEST CONSISTS OF A VARIABLE NUMBER OF QUESTIONS WHOSE FINAL SCORE IS ALWAYS HIGHER THAN 40. HONOURS WILL BE AWARDED TO STUDENTS WHOSE FINAL SCORE EXCEEDS 34. |
