Curriculum Docente
Giovanna Bimonte is Assistant Professor of Mathematical methods of Economics, Finance and Actuarial Sciences at the University of Salerno. She received her BSc. in Economics, MPhil in Economics and Finance, and PhD in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics from University of Naples “Federico II” (Italy). She was Visiting Research in 2010 and 2011 at University of Paris Dauphine. Giovanna teaches in both undergraduate and doctoral level courses, the following disciplines: Mathematics, Game Theory (PhD in Mathematics, Physics and Applications - DIPMAT) and Optimization (PhD in Econmics - DISES). She has published numerous papers in various International Journals and has been the scientific coordinator and member of many financed research projects. She has been a member of the Programme Committee and Organizing Committee of National and International Conferences. She serves as a guest editor of the Games Journal and Computation Journal and as referee for many international scientific Journals (American Mathematical Society, Mathematics, Methods of Operations Research, Decision in Economics and Finance, Energy Policy, Applied Economics, Economics Bulletin, Energy and Environment, Entropy, Sustainability, Games, Journal of Mathematical Finance, Journal of Risk Finance, Int. J. Environment Research and Public Health). She is referee for the ANVUR-VQR 2015-2019.
She is memeber of many Scientific Society (AMASES, SAET, Game Theory, EMS, UMI, Mathesis) and of some scientific Laboratory (Labess, Labeti, Gruppo UMI “Licei Matematici”).
