Objectives | |

TEACHING AIMS TO INTRODUCE STUDENTS TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF HISPANIC HISTORY AND CULTURE, RELATED TO PRE-COLOMBIAN WORLD AND TO SPANISH AND EUROPEAN ONE. TEXTS OF DIFFERENT TYPOLOGIES AND TRADITIONS WILL BE USED, IN ORDER TO LET THE STUDENT UNDERSTAND THE PECULIARITIES OF MACRO ETNO-GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS WHICH FORM THE HISPANIC WORLD. THROUGH HISTORICAL AND LITERARY EXAMPLES, THE STUDENT WILL BE LED AT A FIRST CONTACT TO HISPANIC WORLD WHICH WILL ALLOW HIM TO UNDERSTAND THE COMPLEXITY OF THE AMERICAN CONTINENT. FINALLY THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO CONTEXTUALIZE AND ANALYZE A TEXT, LINKING IT TO A WIDER HISTORICAL AND LITERARY FIELD. |
