THE COURSE INTRODUCES THE STUDENT TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE ISPAN-AMERICAN HISTORY AND CULTURES IN RELATION BOTH TO THE PRE-COLOMBIAN WORLD AND TO THE SPANISH AND EUROPEAN WORLD, THROUGH THE USE OF TEXTS OF DIFFERENT TYPES AND OF DIFFERENT GEOGRAPHIC CONTEXT. THE STUDENT WILL GAIN AWERENESS OF THE SPECIFICITY OF THE GREAT ETHNO-GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS OF THE HISPANIC AMERICAN WORLD. THROUGH HISTORICAL-LITERARY “MEDALLIONS” IT IS INTENDED TO GUIDE IT TO A FIRST APPROACH TO THE LATIN AMERICAN WORLD, TO KNOTS AND CONTRADICTORIES PHENOMENOLOGIES THAT CROSS IT. AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: CONTEXTUALIZE A TEXT, ANALYZE IT CRITICALLY AND CONNECT IT TO OTHERS WITHIN A WIDER HISTORICAL-LITERARY AREA. |

Verification of learning | |

VERIFICATION OF LEARNING WILL TAKE PLACE THROUGH A FINAL ORAL EXAMINATION OF APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES, IN ITALIAN. THE STUDENT WILL HAVE TO DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY HAVE ACQUIRED THE COURSE CONTENTS, BOTH THOSE RELATED TO CULTURAL AND LITERARY HISTORY, AS WELL AS THOSE CONCERNING THE STUDY OF THE LITERARY WORKS INDICATED IN THE PROGRAM AND COVERED DURING THE COURSE, OF WHICH THEY WILL BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE FUNDAMENTAL EXPRESSIVE, STYLISTIC AND RHETORICAL ASPECTS. THE ABILITY TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES CLEARLY AND IN APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE, TO FRAME INFORMATION IN A PRECISE OVERALL FRAMEWORK, BOTH CHRONOLOGICAL AND SPATIAL, INCLUDING IN COMPARISON WITH ARTISTIC PHENOMENA OF OTHER TRADITIONS, TO PRESENT AND COMMENT ON LITERARY TEXTS WITH AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT AND COMPETENCE IN THE USE OF ANALYTICAL TOOLS, WILL BE ASSESSED. STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT PROFICIENT IN SPANISH WILL BE ALLOWED TO REFER TO A BIBLIOGRAPHY EXCLUSIVELY IN ITALIAN. ATTENDING STUDENTS WILL BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE WRITTEN EXAMS |
