Objectives
THE TEACHING AIMS TO PROVIDE THEORETICAL, TECHNICAL AND DIDACTIC CONSTRUCTS USEFUL FOR THE DESIGN OF MOTOR-EXPRESSIVE ACTIVITIES TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN FORMAL AND INFORMAL LEARNING CONTEXTS.
WE WILL INVESTIGATE THE EPISTEMOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES THAT CHARACTERIZE BODY LANGUAGE AS A PRIVILEGED FORM OF NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION WITHIN WHICH GESTURE AND PHYSICAL ACTIONS TAKE ON SEMANTIC, SIGNIFICANT AND EXPRESSIVE VALUES.

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: STUDENTS LEARN THE TOOLS NECESSARY TO IDENTIFY POSSIBLE EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS THAT CAN ENHANCE FREE EXPRESSION AND CREATIVITY TO IMPLEMENT METACOGNITIVE PROCESSES IN TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESSES.

AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT WILL HAVE TO DEMONSTRATE THE ABILITY TO APPLY, INTERPRET AND INTEGRATE KNOWLEDGE AND KNOWLEDGE WHICH ARE USUALLY CONSIDERED SEPARATE IN A FRAMEWORK THAT INCORPORATES WORD, MOVEMENT, THOUGHT, BODY, PERCEPTION AND ACTION. THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED WILL BE ESSENTIAL TO DEVELOP A COMPETENT PROFESSIONAL APPROACH TO TEACHING-EDUCATIONAL-EXPRESSIVE-MOTOR WORK.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT WILL HAVE TO SHOW AN ADEQUATE LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION SKILLS, APPROPRIATELY USING THE SPECIFIC VOCABULARY OF THE DISCIPLINE AND SHOWING HIMSELF CAPABLE OF COHERENTLY ARGUING HIS OWN IDEAS

Teaching Methods
THE TEACHING MAKES USE OF THE FOLLOWING METHODOLOGIES:
-LECTURES ON BROAD TOPICS FOLLOWED BY DISCUSSION WITH THE STUDENTS.
-LESSONS THAT GIVE OPERATIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND OFFER EXERCISES AND PROBLEMS WITH WHICH THE STUDENT WILL BE INVITED TO EXPERIENCE THE LEARNING ACHIEVED.
CLASSROOM EXERCISES, SIMULATIONS AND DESIGN EXPERIENCES ARE ALSO PROVIDED.
Verification of learning
THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TEACHING OBJECTIVES IS CERTIFIED BY PASSING AN EXAM WITH
RATING IN THIRTIETHS. THE EXAM INCLUDES A MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST.
THE WRITTEN TEST AIMS TO ASSESS THE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED BY THE STUDENT. IT HAS A DURATION OF 35 MINUTES,
IN WHICH THE STUDENT MUST TAKE A QUIZ CONSISTING OF 35 MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS. THE FINAL MARK IS AWARDED OUT OF THIRTIENTS. THE EXAM IS CONSIDERED PASSED WHEN THE GRADE IS GREATER OR EQUAL TO 18. THE MAXIMUM MARKS WITH HONORS (30 WITH HONORS) WILL BE ASSIGNED.
PRE - APPEAL TESTS CAN BE AGREED WITH THE CLASS IN ORDER TO LIGHTEN THE FINAL EXAM.
