Objectives
THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE COURSE IS TO GIVE MAIN INSTRUMENTS FOR THE TEACHING OF LAW, THROUGH A CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THE RELATION BETWEEN SCHOOL, LAW, CITIZENSHIP,CONSTITUTION.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
KNOWLEDGE OF REGULATORY SOURCES FOR THE TEACHING OF LAW, THE LEARNING THEORIES AND THE PEDAGOGICAL GUIDELINES.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
ACQUIRE THE USEFUL SKILLS FOR THE TEACHING OF JURISPRUDENCE, FOCUSING ON THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ASPECTS OF LAW AND CITIZENSHIP, ON THE FUNDAMENTAL LEGAL NOTIONS AND ON THE SOCIAL FUNCTIONS OF LAW, ON THE THEORETICAL AND JURIDICAL PROFILES OF DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP.
AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT: ABILITY TO AUTONOMOUSLY RECEIVE AND INTERPRET SIMPLE AND COMPLEX DATA AND INFORMATION RELATED TO THE DIMENSIONS OF THE TEACHING OF LAW. ABILITY TO EXHIBIT THE THESES COVERED BY THE COURSE OF STUDY, DEMONSTRATING AN HIGH DEGREE OF TECHNICAL LANGUAGE.
LEARNING ABILITY: ABILITY TO USE THE SKILLS ACQUIRED IN THE PATH OF PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AS TEACHER.
Prerequisites
KNOWLEDGE OF HISTORY AND CIVIC EDUCATION BASIC CONCEPTS.

THE COURSE ANALYZES THE LAWS RELATING TO THE TEACHING OF LAW I THE SCHOOL; THE ROLE THAT THE ITALIAN CONSTITUTION ATTRIBUTES TO THE SCHOOL; THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLE WITHIN THE "SCHOOL COMMUNITY" AND THE PRINCIPLES OF AUTONOMY AND SUBSIDIARITY. ANALYZES THE MAIN THEORIES OF LEARNING, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO DEWEY'S PRAGMATISM. CRITICALLY ANALYZES THE NOTION OF COMPETENCE AND "TEACHING SKILLS"
Teaching Methods
THE COURSE WILL BE STRUCTURED THROUGH LECTURES, BUT WILL BE ADOPTED A DIALOGICAL AND INTERACTIVE TEACHING METHOD. STUDENTS WILL BE INVOLVED IN DISCUSSIONS AND SEMINARS.
Verification of learning
ORAL EXAMINATION (MINIMUM 3 QUESTIONS) AT THE END OF THE COURSE, AIMED TO ASSES KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF COURSE CONTENTS AND THE ABILITY OF APPLYING THEM.
GRADING SYSTEM: 30-POINT SCALE
-MINIMUM PASSING GRADE: 18/30: SUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE OF COURSE CONTENTS AND LOW ABILITY TO USE THEM IN A STUDY ENVIRONMENT;
- BEST GRADE: 30/30: FULL KNOWLEDGE OF COURSE CONTENT AND HIGH ABILITY TO USE THEM IN A STUDY ENVIRONMENT.
FINAL GRADE IS TO BE MEANT AS A VERAGE OF GRADED RESULTING FROM EVERY ANSWER TO QUESTIONS.
MIDTERM TEST IS JUST FOR ATTENDING STUDENTS.
