Presentation

The GTpu Lab - Laboratory of Urban Planning Techniques Research Group - directed by prof. Roberto Gerundo, is responsible for promoting and developing teaching, research and third mission activities in the field of Urban and Regional Planning. The laboratory carries out tasks related to relations with public and private entities requesting various services, such as technical-scientific support for third parties, through the stipulation of specific agreements with the Department of Civil Engineering (DiCiv). The laboratory also encourages scientific and training activities, through the organization of courses and seminars related to specialized studies, on topics of particular interest in the disciplines covered.

Equipment

The laboratory has modern and sophisticated equipment: ten graphic workstations, printers, scanners and plotters for large formats, prototyping for three-dimensional modeling, electric bending machines and advanced software packages. This instrumentation allows the implementation of specific research activities, both theoretical and basic, as well as applied and design.
