Objectives
ACQUISITION OF KNOWLEDGE RELATIVE TO: - MODELS OF GROWTH OF THE TREE STRUCTURES AND PHYSIOLOGICAL COMPONENTS; TO THE MONITORING STRATEGIES OF THE PARAMETERS OF THE SPA SYSTEM (SOIL, PLANT, ATMOSPHERE); - PREVISIONAL MATHEMATICAL MODELS;
- MONITORING STRATEGIES FOR TREE ORCHARD SYSTEMS; ASSESSMENT OF THE SPATIAL VARIABILITY OF THE ARBOREE PLANTS RESPONSES
THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED WILL ALLOW TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO APPLY PLANT GROWTH MODELS, TO INTERPRET THE DEVELOPMENT PHENOMENA FROM MODELS, TO PLAN AND TO APPLY CONTINUOUS MONITORING PLANS OF FUNCTIONAL PARAMETERS OF TREE ORCHARD SYSTEMS, TO INTERPRET THE RESULTS ARISING FROM MONITORING, TO ANALYZE PRECISION FRUCTICULTURE EXPERIENCES.

THE COURSE PROVIDES FRONTAL LESSONS 6 CFU INCLUDING SEMINARS FOR EXPERT WORKING IN PRECISION AGRICULTURE FIELD (1 CFU). CLASSROOM AND FIELD EXERCISES 3 CFU.
Verification of learning
THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TEACHING OBJECTIVES IS CERTIFIED BY AN EXAMINATION WITH AN ASSESSMENT EXPRESSED IN THIRTIETHS (MIN 18/30). THE EXAM CONSISTS IN THE REALIZATION AND PRESENTATION OF A PROJECT ON A THEME ASSIGNED BY THE TEACHER. THE TEST IS AIMED AT ASCERTAINING THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE/UNDERSTANDING ACHIEVED BY THE STUDENT ON THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENTS INDICATED IN THE PROGRAM.
