Mariarosaria Colucciello (Benevento, 1981) has graduated in Political Sciences and in 2009 has achieved a PhD in Theory and History of Italian and Comparative Political Institutions at the University of Salerno.

From 2013 to 2015 she has been temporary research fellow in the disciplinary sector L-LIN 07 (Language and Translation – Spanish Language) at the Department of Political, Social and Communication Sciences of the University of Salerno. Furthermore, as a professor under contract, she has taught Language, Culture and Institution of the Spanish-Speaking Countries at the same Department.

Currently she is fixed-term researcher (art. 24, paragraph 3 of Law 240/2010, type B) scientific sector 10/I1 (Spanish and Hispanic-American Language, Literature and Culture), scientific sector L-LIN 07 (Language and Translation: Spanish Language), at the Department of Political, Communication Sciences of the University of Salerno

Since 2009 she has been Profesora Invitada Permanente at the Universidad Católica de Colombia, Bogotá. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of “Mediterranean Knowledge. International Centre for Studies and Research” (University of Salerno) and of the scientific and editorial committees of several journals (Cultura Latinoamericana. Revista de Estudios Interculturales; Journal of Mediterranean Knowledge – JMK; Book Series. Mediterranean, Knowledge, Culture and Heritage; Working Papers. ICSR Mediterranean Knowledge; Topoi Aracne Editore). She is also member of the international research group of the ICSR Mediterranean Knowledge / Research Unit of Huelva (Spain).
