Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO FURTHER DEVELOP THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE – ALREADY STUDIED DURING THE DEGREE OF THE FIRST LEVEL- THROUGH THE CAREFUL STUDY OF LINGUISTIC AND CULTURAL SUBJECT-MATTERS JOINED TO THE PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS (PAROEMIAS AND PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS).
THE COURSE HAS AS ITS ULTIMATE GOAL THE ACHIEVEMENT OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF THE B2 LEVEL OF THE EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK OF REFERENCE.
THEREFORE, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND SPANISH AND WRITE IT CORRECTLY.
Prerequisites
SPANISH KNOWLEDGE OF B1-B2 LEVEL OF THE COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK OF REFERENCE.
Contents
THE STUDENT MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND UNDERSTAND THE TEXTS SUBMITTED TO IT, TO USE FLUENTLY SENTENCES AND FREQUENTLY USED EXPRESSIONS AND BE ABLE TO CONVERSE ABOUT THE TOPICS THAT WILL BE PROPOSED DURING THE COURSE. CLASSES ARE HELD IN SPANISH. THE COURSE WILL PRESENT AUTHENTIC MATERIAL RELATED WITH THE PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS (UF) TO FURTHER DEVELOP THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE HISPANIC CULTURE AND CIVILIZATION THROUGH THE PARTICULAR LINGUISTIC TURNS OF WHICH THEY ARE COMPOSED. AT THE END OF THE COURSE STUDENTS WILL HAVE TO DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY HAVE ACQUIRED A BROAD KNOWLEDGE OF THE LANGUAGE.

40 HOURS OF PRESENTIAL LESSONS
Verification of learning
STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES FLUENTLY IN SPANISH AND WRITE IT CORRECTLY. SPECIAL ATTENTION WILL BE PAID TO PAREMIAS OF SPECIALIZED LANGUAGES OF POLITICAL STUDIES.
ASSESSMENT METHODS: ORAL EXAMINATION.
