Teaching Methods
THE 3-CREDIT COURSE (24 HOURS) WILL INCLUDE 14 HOURS OF LECTURES COVERING THE TOPICS AS DESCRIBED, 6 HOURS OF IN-LAB PRACTICE RELATED TO THE MENTIONED TOPICS, AND 4 HOURS OF SEMINARS AND INTERACTION WITH THE TEACHER AND/OR EXPERTS IN THE FIELD. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR AT LEAST 75% OF THE TOTAL COURSE HOURS. ATTENDANCE WILL BE RECORDED USING THE EASYBADGE AUTOMATIC SYSTEM PROVIDED BY THE UNIVERSITY.
Verification of learning
THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE LEARNING OBJECTIVES WILL BE ASSESSED THROUGH A WRITTEN TEST CONSISTING OF 15 QUESTIONS, STRUCTURED IN VARIOUS FORMATS: TRUE/FALSE, COMPLETION, MATCHING, MULTIPLE-CHOICE WITH ONE OR MORE CORRECT ANSWERS, AND CLOSED STIMULUS WITH OPEN RESPONSE.
THE TEST WILL HAVE A MAXIMUM DURATION OF 60 MINUTES AND WILL COVER THE MAIN TOPICS ADDRESSED DURING THE COURSE.
THE TEST WILL BE CONSIDERED PASSED IF THE STUDENT PROVIDES AT LEAST 10 CORRECT ANSWERS OUT OF 15.
THE RESULT WILL BE RECORDED AS "PASSED" OR "NOT PASSED", WITHOUT ASSIGNING A NUMERICAL GRADE.
