MARCO CLAUDIO DE SIMONE Curriculum
Dr. De Simone graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 and received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Salerno. After graduating, he worked at the University of Salerno as a research fellow and adjunct professor, actively contributing to the Department's scientific and teaching activities. In 2017 he co-founded an academic spin-off focusing on the design, development, fabrication, and commercialization of innovative products and services with high technological value.
Dr. De Simone serves as the (Chief) Scientific Officer for research projects funded by the Campania Region under the Campania start-up Innovative program and POR CAMPANIA FESR 2014/2020 in the field of Industria 4.0 technologies applied to the production of new machines and autonomous aircraft.
Since 2022, Dr. De Simone is also Assistant Professor (RTDa) at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Salerno, where he holds the course titled “Dynamics and Diagnostics of Mechanical Systems,” which is part of the Master's degree program in Management Engineering.
