THE NUCLEAR MEDICINE COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO FOUR TEACHING MODULES: PRINCIPLES AND EQUIPMENT OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE WITH 1 CFU, TECHNIQUES AND METHODS OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE WITH 2 CFU, PET WITH 1 CFU, TECHNICAL-METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF THE C.I. WITH 1 CFU. THE COURSE AIMS TO FACILITATE THE ACQUISITION OF THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE REGARDING THE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE AND NUCLEAR MEDICINE EQUIPMENT, THE INTEGRATED PET / CT IMAGE, NUCLEAR MEDICINE METHODS AND THE METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING - KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE - KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF INTEGRATED PET / CT IMAGING ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING - ABILITY TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN DIFFERENT NUCLEAR MEDICINE METHODOLOGIES. - ABILITY TO IDENTIFY THE MEDICINUCLEAR METHODS APPROPRIATE FOR THE STUDY OF DIFFERENT PATHOLOGIES TRANSVERSAL SKILLS - ABILITY TO UPDATE THROUGH BIBLIOGRAPHIC TOOLS. |

THE COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO 4 MODULES: PRINCIPLES AND EQUIPMENT OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE WITH 1 CFU, PET WITH 1 CFU, TECHNIQUES AND METHODOLOGIES OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE WITH 2 CFU, MEDICAL-NUCLEAR METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS WITH 1 CFU. THE COURSE INCLUDES 60 HOURS OF LESSONS IN WHICH THE TOPICS WILL BE ADDRESSED: - TECHNETIUM AND THE MAIN RADIONUCLIDES. - BIOCHEMICAL AND BIODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MAIN RADIOPHARMACEUTICALS. - NUCLEAR MEDICINE EQUIPMENT. - MAIN APPLICATIONS OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE (SINGLE PHOTON TECHNIQUE) IN THE STUDY OF THE MAIN ORGANS AND SYSTEMS. - PRINCIPLES OF SINGLE PHOTON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY. - SINGLE PHOTON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT. - MAIN APPLICATIONS OF SINGLE PHOTON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY. - PRINCIPLES OF POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY. - POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT. - CYCLOTRON |

THE COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO LECTURES (60 HOURS) THAT ALLOW THE STUDENT TO ACQUIRE THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF THE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE METHODS. ATTENDANCE OF CLASSROOM LECTURES AND LABORATORY EXERCISES IS MANDATORY. IN ORDER TO TAKE THE FINAL EXAM, THE STUDENT MUST HAVE ATTENDED AT LEAST 75% OF THE TEACHING HOURS. THE MANNER OF CHECKING ATTENDANCE IS MADE KNOWN BY THE TEACHER AT THE BEGINNING OF THE LESSONS. |

THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TEACHING OBJECTIVES IS CERTIFIED BY PASSING AN ORAL EXAM WITH AN EVALUATION OUT OF THIRTY. THE TEST AS A WHOLE MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO ASCERTAIN BOTH THE ABILITY TO KNOW AND UNDERSTAND, BOTH THE ABILITY TO APPLY THE SKILLS ACQUIRED, THE ABILITY TO EXHIBIT, AND THE ABILITY TO LEARN AND DEVELOP SOLUTIONS INDEPENDENTLY OF JUDGMENT. THE TEACHERS HOLDING THE COORDINATED MODULES PARTICIPATE IN THE OVERALL COLLEGIAL ASSESSMENT OF THE STUDENT'S ACHIEVEMENT. |
