Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO GIVE KNOWLEDGE AT THE MOLECULAR LEVEL OF THE MAJOR CELL PROCESSES, IN PARTICULAR OF THE MOLECULAR MECHANISMS REGULATING PROTEIN LOCALIZATION AND TRAFFICKING, SIGNALLING AND CYTOSKELETON DYNAMICS.

APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS ALSO TO HELP THE DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS ON BIOCHEMICAL STRATEGIES FOR EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF CELL PROCESSES.
Prerequisites
THERE ARE NO REQUIRED EXAMS. HOWEVER, POSSESSING SKILLS IN BIOCHEMISTRY AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Teaching Methods
LECTURES IN THE CLASSROOM WITH PROJECTION OF TEACHING MATERIALS IN ELECTRONIC FORM. EXERCISES IN CLASS. LABORATORY PRACTISES. TO ATTEND LESSONS IS NOT MANDATORY.
Verification of learning
THE ACHIEVEMENT OF TEACHING AIMS WILL BE VERIFIED BY MEANS OF A WRITTEN EXAMINATION, WITH A DURATION OF 90 MINUTES. THE WRITTEN TEST CONSISTS OF A COMBINATION OF QUESTIONS WITH DIRECT AND OPEN ANSWERS (4 QUESTIONS WITH DIRECT ANSWER, 3 PT EACH; 3 QUESTIONS WITH OPEN ANSWER, 6 PT EACH).
THE EXAMINATION IS AIMED TO VERIFY THE ACQUISITION OF: KNOWDLEDGE AND EXPERTISES ON SUBJECTS OF THE COURSE; ABILITY TO CORRECTLY APPLY THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE; ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND PROPOSED PROBLEMS; ADEQUATE LANGUAGE SKILLS.THE SUM OF POINTS FOR EACH ANSWER WILL GIVE A MARK OF 30/30.HONORS WILL BE GIVEN WHEN THE STUDENT DISPLAYS EXCELLENT SKILL ON THEORETICAL SUBJECTS AND EXCELLENT COMMAND OF LANGUAGE IN THE WRITTEN PRESENTATION.
