CIRIACO D'AMBROSIO Curriculum

Ciriaco D'Ambrosio is a Researcher (art.24 c.3 lett. b, L 240/2010) at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Salerno, where he carries out scientific research activities at the Laboratory of Mathematical Models and Methods for Applications. He graduated in Computer Science in 2011 from the University of Salerno with a score of 110/110 cum laude. In 2015, he obtained a Ph.D. degree by defending a thesis entitled "Coverage in Wireless Sensor Networks: Models and Algorithms" under the supervision of prof. R. Cerulli and prof. F. Carrabs.

From 2015 to 2020, he worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Salerno, focusing on Optimization Problems defined on Wireless Sensor Networks from 2015 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, his main research focus shifted to Interval Linear Programming Mathematical Models.

From March 2, 2020, to September 31, 2022, he held the position of University Researcher (full-time, art. 24 c.3 lett. a, L. 240/10) with a contract within the POC "Research and Innovation" 2014-2020 - Action 1.2 "Researchers' Mobility" - AIM "Attraction and International Mobility."

In April 2021, he obtained the National Scientific Qualification (art. 16, comma 1, Law 240/10) as an Assistant Professor in the sector of 01/A6 OPERATIONAL RESEARCH with a unanimous judgment from the Commission.

Since October 1, 2022, he has been a University Researcher (art.24 c.3 lett. b, L 240/2010) as a t.d. lett. B.

He carries out research activities aimed at designing and developing new exact and metaheuristic models and algorithms for Combinatorial Optimization Problems and Mixed Integer Linear Programming Problems.
