THE COURSE PROVIDES THE METHODOLOGICAL AND TECHNICAL RESOURCES TO DESIGN WELL-CALIBRATED INTERVENTIONS IN THE VARIOUS SECTORS OF TRAINING. EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOWING THE METHODOLOGIES OF PLANNING THE MOST RECENT AND ADVANCED EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS,ESPECIALLY THE MOST USEFUL FOR THE CONTINUING EDUCATION SECTOR. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: BEING ABLE TO MAKE INFORMED JUDGMENTS ABOUT SPECIFIC CASES AND TO PLAN COMPLEX INTERVENTIONS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE MANY VARIABLES OF THE PEDAGOGICAL INTERVENTION. |

STARTING FROM THE EPISTEMOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE MAIN PEDAGOGICAL RESEARCH PARADIGMS, THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH THE PRACTICAL TOOLS NECESSARY TO DRAW UP A RESEARCH PROJECT, AND, SUBSEQUENTLY, COLLECT, PROCESS THE DATA AND INTERPRET THE RESULTS OBTAINED. IN THIS END, THEY WILL BE ANALYZED: • ORIGIN AND DEVELOPMENT OF EXPERIMENTAL EDUCATION • THE PHASES OF EMPIRICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH; • RESEARCH STRATEGIES IN EDUCATION; • QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH IN EDUCATION; • RESEARCH-ACTION; • OBSERVATION IN EDUCATIONAL CONTEXTS; • TOOLS AND PROCEDURES FOR DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS; • ELEMENTS OF DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS APPLIED TO EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH • MONOVARIATE ANALYSIS • BIVARIATE ANALYSIS |

INTERMEDIATE TESTS: ATTENDING STUDENTS WILL BE INVOLVED IN THE RESOLUTION OF SEMISTRUCTURED TESTS, CASE STUDY, TO BE CARRIED OUT INDIVIDUALLY OR IN PAIRS. FINAL EXAM: FOR ATTENDING STUDENTS, IT CONSISTS IN THE CREATION OF A RESEARCH PROJECT TO WHICH THE ORAL INTERVIEW WILL BE FOLLOWED. FOR NON ATTENDING STUDENTS THE TEST IS CONSTITUTED BY CLOSED-ENDED QUESTIONS (30 MULTIPLE CHOICE ITEMS), IT IS CONSIDERED TO BE PASSED WITH AT LEAST 16 CORRECT ANSWERS, AND ORAL INTERVIEW. |
