FRANCESCO BARDOZZO Curriculum
Francesco Bardozzo is a senior researcher at the University of Salerno (UNISA). He received a B.Sc and M.Sc degree cum laude in artificial and computational intelligence at UNISA. In 2021, he received a Ph.D. summa cum laude in artificial intelligence applied to micro-robotic surgery at UNISA. In 2022, Francesco Bardozzo received a nomination from the International Neural Network Society for INNS Doctoral Dissertation Award. His research interests are oriented on deep learning applications and theoretical neuromorphic modeling of learning systems focused on explainable AI (X-AI) and applied to computational finance, medical imaging, generative composition, and computational biology with particular attention to the study of metabolic networks, multi-omic signals, and oscillations. FB published more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific publications in journals and international conferences. He worked with several international groups as a research fellow, in particular with the University of Cambridge (UK), IRCAD (FR), and the University of Navarra (ES). In the musical field, he collaborates with several emerging and well-known artists at the national level. FB is on the scientific committee of the ISIA – University of Florence regarding artificial intelligence and art.
