Michelangelo MISURACA Curriculum
Michelangelo Misuraca has been an Associate Professor of Social Statistics (STAT-03/B) since 2017 and a Department of Management and Innovation Systems (DISA-MIS) member since 2024. He obtained the National Scientific Qualification for Full Professorship in the subject area 13/STAT-03 in 2023. He holds a PhD in Statistics (2005, University of Naples Federico II).
Since 2005, he has taught Statistics, Social Statistics, and Textual Statistics in several undergraduate and graduate programmes at the University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro, the University of Naples Federico II, and the University of Calabria. He is a member of the Doctoral School in Social Sciences and Statistics at the University of Naples Federico II. Since 2022, he has served as Vice President of the P.A.domani Foundation (E.T.S.) in Caserta.
His research interests are mainly oriented to Text Mining and Social Media Mining, with particular reference to the automatic extraction of topics from text written in natural language, text categorisation, and sentiment analysis.
