THE COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS. IN THE FIRST MODULE THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE ANALYTICAL TOOLS IN ORDER TO EXAMINE SPECIFIC QUESTIONS OF THE ITALIAN ECONOMIC CYCLE, SECTORS AND BUSINESS DYNAMICS DURING THE YEARS OF THE DOUBLE CRISIS (2008-2018) AND THE LAST ONE OF 2020-21, THEIR INTERNATIONALIZATION EXPERIENCES, THEIR PERFORMANCE, THE CHANGES IN THE PRODUCTION SYSTEM. CASE STUDIES AND ANALYSIS ARE BASED ON THE DYNAMICS OF THE MAIN MACROECONOMIC AND SECTORAL TRENDS, MAKING USE OF INDICATORS AND VARIABLES DRAWN FROM THE RICH DATA SETS. IN THE SECOND MODULE THE PROGRAM ANALYZES THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE INTERNATIONALIZATION PROCESSES OF ITALIAN COMPANIES, ALSO CONSIDERING A COMPARISON WITH THE OTHER MAIN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, BOTH IN TERMS OF COMMERCIAL AND PRODUCTIVE INTERNATIONALIZATION. MOREOVER, THE NEW FORMS OF INTERNATIONALIZATION GIVEN BY THE DIGITIZATION AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION (DIGITAL COMMERCE) WILL BE ALSO TAKING ONTO ACCOUNT . IN ADDITION, LABORATORIES TRAINING SESSIONS ARE HELD AIMED TO USING THE AVAILABLE DATABASES ON INTERNATIONALIZATION AND ANALYZING THE MAIN INDICATORS, BUT ALSO EXAMINING CONCRETE CASES OF INTERNATIONALIZATION MODELS. THE COURSE HAS THE OBJECTIVE OF MAKING THE STUDENT AUTONOMOUS IN THE REALIZATION OF A REPORT OR RESEARCH PROJECT, AS WELL AS IN THE BUILDING AND ANALYSIS OF DATASET. THE COURSE ALSO INTENDS TO DEVELOP THE STUDENT'S KNOWLEDGE AND CRITICAL SKILLS RELATED TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE CONTENT AND OF RESULTS' INTERPRETATION OF THE LITERATURE OF THE MOST RECENT YEARS AND NOT. |

THE FINAL ASSESSMENT IS BASED ON THE ELABORATION AND PRESENTATION OF REPORTS / PROJECTS WORKS (FOR GROUPS OF STUDENTS-2/3) ON SPECIFIC TOPICS AND IN AN ORAL EXAM. THE EVALUATION GOES FROM 18 TO 30. THE REPORT / PROJECT WORK HAS A WEIGHT OF 50% AND THE SAME IS FOR THE ORAL EXAM. THE REPORT / PROJECT WORK WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE END OF THE COURSE. THE PRESENTATION WILL LAST 30/45 MINUTES (DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF GROUP MEMBERS), WHILE THE ORAL EXAM WILL BE PLACED DURING THE FINAL EXAMINATION. THE PRESENTATION OF THE REPORT / PROJECT WORK IS MANDATORY FOR THE ORAL EXAM. SPECIFICALLY, THE OBJECTIVE OF THE REPORT / PROJECT WORK IS TO KNOW THE STUDENT'S ANALYSIS SKILLS ACQUIRED DURING THE LESSON AND THE LABORATORY HOURS.
