FAUSTO TUCCI Curriculum

Fausto Tucci graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Salerno (Italy) in 2016 and achieved his Doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Salerno (Italy) in 2020 with a thesis entitled “Multiphysics modeling and numerical simulation of injection pultrusion processes: impregnation flow, heat-transfer and stress-strain analysis”. In different years and with different roles he performed research activities at the Fraunhofer Institute for Casting, Composite and Processing Technology IGCV (Augsburg, Germany) in 2016, at the Center for Design, Manufacturing and Materials - Skoltech - Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Mosca, Russia) in 2019, at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Aveiro (Aveiro, Portugal) in 2021 and at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology – Madras (Chennai, India) in 2023. In January and February 2024 he was a Visiting Faculty Fellow at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology – Madras (Chennai, India) in the framework of the Institute of Eminence (IoE) program promoted and funded by the IIT Madras.

From 2022 he is Assistant Professor in Manufacturing Technologies and Systems at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Salerno. Fausto Tucci is currently the holder of the chair in Advanced Materials and Manufacturing and a lecturer of Manufacturing Technology.

He is Associate Editor for the SAE International Journal of Sustainability, Transportation, Energy, Environment, & Policy (ISSN: 2640-642X, e-ISSN: 2640-6438), edited by SAE International (https://www.sae.org/publications/collections/content/E-JOURNAL-13/).

Member of the Italian Association of Manufacturing Technologies (Associazione Italiana Tecnologie Manifatturiere - AITeM), the European Scientific Association for Material Forming - ESAFORM, and the American Society for Materials ASM-INTERNATIONAL.
