Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO GUIDE THE STUDENT ON THEORETICAL AND DIDACTIC MODELS FOR DESIGNING, CONDUCTING, AND MANAGING OF INCLUSIVE AND ADAPTED SPORTS PROGRAMS, BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP, AS A TOOL TO IMPROVE AND PROMOTE THE WELL-BEING OF PEOPLE, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT GENDER, AGE, AND INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOPHYSICAL CONDITIONS, AND ENHANCING THE EDUCATIONAL POTENTIAL OF BOTH SPORTS MODELS. AT THE END OF THE COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL:
- KNOW THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES OF INCLUSIVE AND ADAPTED SPORTS CONSIDERING AGE, GENDER, AND DISABILITY CONDITION;
- KNOW AND APPLY THE METHODOLOGIES FOR SPORTS DISCIPLINES IN RELATION TO CONTEXT, DISABILITY CONDITION, AGE, AND GENDER;
- BE AWARE OF THE EDUCATIONAL POTENTIAL OF DIFFERENT INCLUSIVE AND ADAPTED SPORTS PROPOSALS;
- BE ABLE TO ORGANIZE AND MANAGE WORKING GROUPS RELATED TO THE SPORTS DISCIPLINES;
- CRITICALLY USE THE SCIENTIFIC MATERIAL DISCUSSED THROUGHOUT THE COURSE.

THE COURSE WILL ANALYZE THE THEORETICAL, TECHNICAL, AND DIDACTIC PRINCIPLES OF ADAPTED AND INCLUSIVE SPORTS, FOCUSING ON THE FOLLOWING ASPECTS:
- THE ORGANIZATION OF THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SPORTS SYSTEM IN RELATION TO INCLUSIVE AND ADAPTED SPORTS;
- THE MOVEMENT, THE BODY, AND CORPOREALITY IN THE EDUCATIONAL AND DIDACTIC RELATIONSHIP FOR INCLUSIVE AND ADAPTED SPORTS ACTIVITIES;
- THE PARALYMPIC SPORTS SYSTEM;
- THE EDUCATIONAL MODEL OF INCLUSIVE SPORTS: THE CONCEPT OF UNIVERSAL DESIGN FOR LEARNING AND DESIGNED FOR ALL APPLIED TO SPORTS ACTIVITIES;
- THE EDUCATIONAL MODEL OF SPORTS FOR PEOPLE WITH FRAILTIES, INTELLECTUAL, AND RELATIONAL DISABILITIES.
Teaching Methods
TEACHING ACTIVITIES WILL BE ORGANIZED INTO INTERACTIVE FRONTAL LESSONS. GROUP WORK ACTIVITIES IN PROBLEM-POSING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING WILL BE PROVIDED TO DEVELOP INDIVIDUAL, RELATIONAL, AND COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS, AS WELL AS AUTONOMY IN ACTION AND JUDGMENT. THE ORGANIZATION OF THEMATIC SEMINARS WILL BE HELD.
Verification of learning
WRITTEN EXAM CONSISTING OF A MULTIPLE-CHOICE TEST LASTING 32 MINUTES AND COMPOSED OF 32 QUESTIONS. THE FINAL EVALUATION WILL BE EXPRESSED IN THIRTIETHS. THE EXAM IS CONSIDERED PASSED WITH A SCORE GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO 18; "CUM LAUDE" WILL BE AWARDED TO STUDENTS WHOSE FINAL SCORE EXCEEDS 30. MIDTERM OR PRE-SESSIONAL TEST (WRITTEN WORK) FOR ATTENDING STUDENTS MAY BE PLANNED.
