EDUCATIONAL AIMS THE EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE OF THE TEACHING IS TO FORM A FIGURE OF ANTHROPOLOGIST THAT FITS INTO THE BROADER FRAMEWORK OF "INTELLECTUAL CRITIC" CAPABLE OF CARRYING OUT ANALYZES AND INTERPRETATIONS OF CASES AND CULTURAL SYSTEMS CAPABLE OF ELABORATING AND DISSEMINATING, ON THE BASIS OF ADVANCED SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE -DISCIPLINES, CRITICAL RELATIONSHIPS IN RELATION TO SOCIAL PRACTICES AND CONTEXTUAL SYSTEMS IN WHICH IT WILL OPERATE. THE GOAL IS TO TRAIN THE GAZE FOR EDUCATIONAL GOALS THE GOAL IS TO GRASP THE COUNTLESS IDEAS THAT EVERYDAY REALITY OFFERS US STARTING FROM EXPERIENCES, HABITS, REPRESENTATIONS, TO ALL FORMS OF "OTHERNESS" AND DIFFERENCE, FROM THOSE CLOSER TO THOSE MORE DISTANT IN SPACE AND IN THE TIME. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE TEACHING PROVIDES A KNOWLEDGE THAT WILL ALLOW THE STUDENT TO MOVE WITH ABSOLUTE MASTERY IN THE HORIZONS OF SCIENTIFIC AND HUMANISTIC KNOWLEDGE CLOSER TO THE ANTHROPOLOGICAL AND WILL OFFER, IN GENERAL, SOLID THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL BASES REGARDING THE PROCESSES OF COMMUNICATION AND INTERPRETATION, IN PARTICULAR ON SPECIFIC MECHANISMS OF HUMAN RELATIONS AND SOCIAL SYSTEMS. IT WILL ALSO TRAIN FIELD PRACTICE AND ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH IN ORDER TO RAISE AWARENESS OF ANTHROPOLOGY ISSUES IN ORDER TO TRAIN QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ATTENTIVE TO TODAY'S COMPLEXITIES. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING WE WANT TO DEVELOP SKILLS IN STUDENTS THAT ARE ABLE TO APPLY THEIR KNOWLEDGE TO NEW FIELDS OF INVESTIGATION AND IN LARGER CONTEXTS, ESTABLISHING INTERDISCIPLINARY LINKS, THUS CHALLENGING THE CONTEXTUAL COMPLEXITY TO ORIENTATE NOT ONLY IN THE PROLIFERATION OF KNOWLEDGE OF FACT BUT ALSO AND ESPECIALLY IN THE CONTRAST OF INTERPRETATIONS. FURTHERMORE, WE WILL WORK TO FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING SKILLS: INCLUSION IN A GROUP WORK (WITH A SPIRIT OF COLLABORATION AND ATTITUDE TO THE INITIATIVE); ORGANIZE AND COORDINATE CULTURAL EVENTS (WITH INTEREST AND CURIOSITY AS WELL AS INVENTIVENESS AND CREATIVITY); UNDERTAKE PROJECTS, ALSO PLANNING ACTIVITIES ORGANIZED ON THEIR OWN. |

OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE OF CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY IS INTRODUCE THE STUDENT TO THE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE OF SOME PARADIGMS OF THE CLASSIC AND CONTEMPORARY DEMO-ETHNO-ANTHROPOLOGICAL THEORIES. IT IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE BASIC KNOWLEDGE RELATED TO THE CONCEPTS OF IDENTITY, CULTURE, ETHNICITY, TRADITION AND RELATED TO THE METHODOLOGY OF ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH, IN ADDITION IT IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE CRITICAL CAPACITIES TO OBSERVE DYNAMICS AND CULTURAL AND SOCIAL CONTEMPORARY PROCESSES REGARDING THE COMPLEX RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LOCAL CULTURES, CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND GLOBAL SCENARIOS. THE COURSE IS STRUCTURE IN THREE PARTS: FIRST PART: WILL BE ANALYZED THE MAIN AUTHORS OF THE DEMO-ETNO-ANTHROPOLOGICAL, WHO HAVE ALSO MARKED THE INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY AS ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE. PART TWO: WILL BE ILLUSTRATED THE THEORICAL PARADIGMS OR THE SCIENTIFIC THOUGHTS ARE ALWAYS MARKED THE HISTORY OF CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY, UP TO THE GLOBALIZATION THAT HAS CHARACTERIZED THE LAST DECADES AND NECESSARILY IT HAS CHANGED THE DEMOETNOANTROPOLOGICAL DISCIPLINES. THIRD PARTY: WILL BE STUDY THE MAIN CONCEPTS AND THEORIES THAT CHARACTERIZE THE METHODOLOGY OF ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH, ANALYZING STUDY CASES PARTICULARLY USEFUL TO UNDERSTAND THE UTILITY AND THE CRUCIAL IMPORTANCE OF FIELDWORK TODAY, TO UNDERSTAND COMPLEX PHENOMENA. |

THE COURSE FOLLOWS TEACHING METHODS OF TRADITIONAL TYPE, ORAL EXPOSURE OF CONTENTS, AND INNOVATIVE TYPE, WITH THE AUSILIO OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATORY TOOLS AND VIDEO DOCUMENTS. ALSO INTENDS TO ALSO PROMOTE COMMUNICATION IN THE CLASSROOM SUPPORTING THE RECIPROCITY AND THE PUBLIC INTERVENTION OF THE STUDENTS WITH STRONGLY, IN ORDER TO MAKE THEIR ACTIVE AND INVOLVING ACTION AWARE. FINALLY, THE COURSE INTENDS TO ENHANCE THE LEARNING SKILLS OF STUDENTS BY ACTIVATING THE MOST POSSIBLE CHANNELS OF COMMUNICATION CAPABLE OF STRENGTHENING THEIR INVOLVEMENT AND ATTENTION LEVEL NECESSARY. IN ADDITION IT PROVIDES THE POSSIBILITY TO CARRY OUT SHORT RESEARCH EXPERIENCES OF FIELDWORK. |

THE VOTE, EXPRESSED IN THIRTY MORE EVENTUAL LODE, IS DETERMINED BY THE LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE FOR EACH OF THE FOLLOWING DIMENSIONS OF THE ORAL EXHIBITION: COMMUNICATION SKILLS, CRITICAL DESCRIPTIVE SKILLS OF THE QUESTIONS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION, DEFINITIONS AND THEORETICAL REFERENCES, MASTERY OF THE CONTENTS. LA LODE IS ATTRIBUTED WHEN THE CANDIDATE DEMONSTRATE SIGNIFICANT MASTERY OF METHODOLOGIES AND INSTRUMENTS AND EXCITES LARGE PROPERTY OF LANGUAGE AND ABILITY OF AUTONOMOUS PROCESSING AND IN CASES OF RESEARCH EXPERIENCES. |
