Objectives
THIS COURSE INTENDS TO PROVIDE THE THEORETICAL AND TECHNICAL BASIS FOR TEACHING EDUCATION THROUGH MOVEMENT IN DIFFERENT EDUCATIONAL CONTEXTS, BUT WITH A PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO BODY EDUCATION AND MOVEMENT IN DEVELOPMENTAL AGE.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND: THE COURSE PROVIDES THE NOTIONS AND METHODOLOGICAL TOOLS ESSENTIAL TO KNOW THE THEORETICAL PRINCIPLES OF TEACHING THE BODY IN MOVEMENT AND THE PHYSIO-NEUROLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE ON WHICH THIS THEORY IS BASED.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: STUDENTS LEARN TO APPLY THE NOTIONS LEARNED TO THE CORRECT PLANNING OF SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS DANCE AND GAMES.
AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT WILL HAVE TO DEMONSTRATE THE ABILITY TO APPLY AND INTERPRET THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE ESSENTIAL TO DEVELOP A COMPETENT PROFESSIONAL APPROACH TO TEACHING-EDUCATIONAL-SPORTS WORK.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
-AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT WILL SHOW AN ADEQUATE LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION SKILLS, APPROPRIATELY USING THE SPECIFIC LEXICON OF THE DISCIPLINE AND SHOWING THEMSELVES ABLE TO ARGUMENT THEIR IDEAS COHERENTLY.

THE COURSE CONSTITUTES THE FIRST APPROACH TO THE DISCIPLINES. THERE ARE NO PREREQUISITES.

Teaching Methods
THE TEACHING MAKES USE OF THE FOLLOWING METHODOLOGIES:
-LECTURES ON BROAD TOPICS FOLLOWED BY DISCUSSION WITH THE STUDENTS.
-LESSONS THAT GIVE OPERATIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND OFFER EXERCISES AND PROBLEMS WITH WHICH THE STUDENT WILL BE INVITED TO EXPERIENCE THE LEARNING ACHIEVED.
CLASSROOM EXERCISES, SIMULATIONS AND DESIGN EXPERIENCES ARE ALSO PROVIDED.
Verification of learning
THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TEACHING OBJECTIVES IS CERTIFIED BY PASSING AN EXAM WITH
RATING IN THIRTIETHS. THE EXAM INCLUDES A MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST.
THE WRITTEN TEST AIMS TO ASSESS THE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED BY THE STUDENT. IT HAS A DURATION OF 35 MINUTES,
IN WHICH THE STUDENT MUST TAKE A QUIZ CONSISTING OF 35 MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS. THE FINAL MARK IS AWARDED OUT OF THIRTIENTS. THE EXAM IS CONSIDERED PASSED WHEN THE GRADE IS GREATER OR EQUAL TO
18. THE AWARDING OF THE HIGHEST MARKS WITH HONORS (30 WITH HONORS) IS EXPECTED.
PRE-APPEAL TESTS CAN BE AGREED WITH THE CLASS IN ORDER TO LIGHTEN THE FINAL EXAM.
