THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE BASIC CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE AND OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES TO AUTONOMOUSLY DEVELOP THE COMPUTER SKILLS USEFUL DUE TO THEIR GROWING IMPORTANCE IN THE INDUSTRIAL FIELD. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT WILL KNOW: - THE HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE BASIC ELEMENTS OF A COMPUTER; - THE FUNDAMENTALS OF THE INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION OF DIGITAL LITERACY MODULES; - THE RELEVANCE OF COMPUTER SKILLS IN THE FIELD OF INDUSTRY 4.0 INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION THROUGH THE INTEGRATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE PRODUCTION CHAINS (INCLUDING THE ENABLING TECHNOLOGY CLOUD COMPUTING). THE COURSE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE OF 3 CFU (24 HOURS) WILL CONSIST OF LECTURES AND EXERCISES. COURSE ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY AND ACCESS TO THE EXAM REQUIRES ATTENDANCE OF AT LEAST 70 PERCENT. ATTENDANCE WILL BE RECORDED USING EASYBADGE. |

THE FINAL ASSESSMENT OF ACQUIRED SKILLS WILL CONSIST OF A WRITTEN TEST, BASED ON MULTIPLE-CHOICE QUESTIONS (10 QUESTIONS) AND EXERCISES ON WORD PROCESSING, SPREADSHEETS AND THEME PRESENTATION. THE TEST WILL BE CONSIDERED PASSED IF THE STUDENT ANSWERS CORRECTLY TO TWO THIRDS OF THE MULTIPLE-CHOICE QUESTIONS AND TWO PROPOSED EXERCISES. DURING THE COURSE, THERE WILL BE AT LEAST TWO WRITTEN IN ITINERE TESTS CONSISTING OF MULTIPLE-CHOICE QUESTIONS (10 QUESTIONS) AND EXERCISES ON WORD PROCESSING, SPREADSHEETS AND THEME PRESENTATION. |
