Objectives
IMPLEMENTATION OF PREVIOUSLY ACQUIRED PHILOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE. THIS OBJECTIVE IS PURSUED THROUGH THE READING AND COMMENTARY OF THE MOST SIGNIFICANT DANTESQUE TEXTS AND THE CRITICAL LITERATURE, AS WELL AS THE DISCUSSION OF THE PROBLEMS INHERENT TO THEIR TRANSMISSION.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THE STUDENT WILL ACQUIRE ONE:
- IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRADITION AND EDITIONS OF THE COMEDY;
- KNOWLEDGE OF THE STEMMATIC METHOD APPLIED TO COMEDY BY CRITICAL EDITORS.

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO:
- EVALUATE TEXTUAL SOLUTIONS PROPOSED BY EDITORS;
- READ MANUSCRIPTS AND PRINTS OF THE COMEDY;
- COMMENTING PHILOLOGICALLY STEPS OF THE COMEDY.

AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT
THE STUDENT WILL KNOW:
- DEVELOP AND / OR APPLY ORIGINAL APPROACHES AND INTUITIONS IN ORDER TO HELP ADVANCE THE STATE OF RESEARCH IN THE REFERENCE SECTORS;
- ACT PROFESSIONALLY IN THE DIFFERENT AREAS OF PHILOLOGICAL-LITERARY STUDIES.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO:
- READ AND INTERPRET THE TEXTS, OF COURSE WITH PARTICULAR CONCERNING THE DISCUSSION OF ASPECTS OF CHARACTER IN A STRICT PHILOLOGICAL SENSE.

LEARNING SKILLS
THE STUDENT WILL ACQUIRE:
- METHODOLOGICAL SKILLS OF LINGUISTIC AND LITERARY ANALYSIS OF TEXTS.
