Objectives
THE COURSE WILL EXAMINE THE MAIN THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVES IN DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY. KEY CRITICAL ISSUES IN THE DISCIPLINE WILL BE EXPLORED IN DEPTH. THE COURSE AIMS TO ACHIEVE THE FOLLOWING LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- ACQUIRE THE FOUNDATIONS OF DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY FROM A - CULTURAL PERSPECTIVE, WITH REFERENCE TO THE MAIN AUTHORS AND TOPICS OF THE DISCIPLINE;
- UNDERSTAND DEVELOPMENT AND THE FORMATION OF AN INDIVIDUAL AS THE RESULT OF THE INTERACTION BETWEEN VARIOUS COGNITIVE, SOCIO-EMOTIONAL, CULTURAL, AND CONTEXTUAL PROCESSES;
- LEARN AND BECOME AWARE OF THE COMPLEXITY INVOLVED IN STUDYING INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES AND CULTURAL DYNAMICS.
