Objectives
THIS COURSE AIMS AT PROVIDING THE DOCTORAL STUDENTS WITH INFORMATION ON RELEVANT "GREEN CHEMISTRY" FEATURES RELATED TO ALL TYPES OF METATHESIS REACTIONS (RCM, CM, ENYNE METATHESIS, ADMET AND ROMP) AND ON THE DIVERSE OPPORTUNITIES IDENTIFIED FOR GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES AND INDUSTRIAL PROCEDURES BASED ON METATHESIS.
Prerequisites
BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF ORGANIC AND ORGANOMETALLIC CHEMISTRY GENERALLY ACQUIRED IN COURSES OF SCIENTIFIC AND / OR TECHNOLOGICAL DEGREES.

OLEFIN METATHESIS AS A GREEN METHOD OF THE CHEMICAL SYNTHESIS. EXAMPLES OF APPLICATIONS OF GREEN METATHESIS IN THE SYNTHESIS OF PHARMACEUTICALS, NATURAL PRODUCTS, AGRICULTURAL CHEMICALS, LONG CHAINED POLYMERS, PHEROMONES OR OLEOCHEMICAL DERIVATIVES.
Teaching Methods
THE TEACHING WILL BE 4 HOURS OF CLASSROOM LESSONS AND POWERPOINT PRESENTATION.

PRESENTATION OF A RESEARCH PAPER RELATED TO THEMES OF THE COURSE.
