Fabrizia CAIAZZO | Curriculum

Since 2001 she is Associate Professor in Manufacturing Technology and Systems. Her research activities are: innovative techniques to quantitative analysis of production systems, dimensional metrology via coordinate measuring machines, laser metal sintering technology and technological applications of high power lasers

Those activities are developed with a range of collaborations with Italian Universities colleagues  and also with Research Centers as (ENEA, CALEF, CIRA Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziali) and firms (Alenia Aermacchi S.p.A., Avio S.p.A, EMA Europea Microfusioni Aerospaziali S.p.A). She currently is developing the research projects as: PON01_01269 ELIOS Emergent Laser fIbre Optic welded Structures leader CALEF, PON_01_00895 LABREP Laboratorio sul repair leader Avio S.p.A Brindisi and PON_a3_00007 NAFASSYNAtional FAcility for Superconducting Systems leader University di Salerno. She is head of Research Assistant about Mechanical proprieties of metals. She is head of research projects: PON03_00609 DAC Distretto Aerospaziale Campano Sifurtec leader Alenia Aermacchi S.p.A. and PON03_00040 RITAM RIcerca su Tecnologie Avanzate per Motori leader EMA S.p.A.

In 2012 she has patented an automated apparatus of laser beam welding
