SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY
At the University of Salerno she coordinates a research group with a high-level expertise on polymers, their transformation and functionalization, recycling technologies and new biodegradable polymeric systems, with an approach oriented towards sustainability and circular economy requirements. The research activities are carried out with a global perspective, from the chemical-physical-rheological characterization of the raw materials to the analysis of the performance of the final products, to assess their functionalities and suitability for the intended applications. Moreover, her research activity is also dedicated to the formulation and evaluation of the effectiveness of innovative polymeric materials, recycled and not, in the construction sector.
