Objectives
BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE LATIN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE TENDING TO DECISIVELY ENRICH THE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE STUDENTS, WHO WILL BE ABLE TO USE IT FOR MANY OPERATIONAL AND EMPLOYMENT PURPOSES

Contents
THE PROGRAM IS STRUCTURED AS FOLLOWS:
1) A SUMMARY OF THE HISTORY OF LATIN LITERATURE, BY ASPECTS, THEMES AND GENERAL PROBLEMS.
2) THE LATIN OF CULTURAL HERITAGE
THE LESSONS WILL BE INTEGRATED WITH THE STUDY OF A SUMMARY OF THE HISTORY OF LATIN LITERATURE, WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE MAJOR ARTISTIC PERSONALITIES (PLAUTUS, TERENTIUS, CAESAR, CICERO, VARRO, SALLUSTIUS, LUCRETIUS, CATULLUS, VIRGIL, HORATIUS, TIBULLUS, PROPERTIUS, OVID, PETRONIUS, SENECA, VITRUVIUS, PLINY THE ELDER, PERSIUS, LUCANUS, STATIUS, QUINTILIAN, JUVENTAL, MARTIAL, TACITUS, SUETONIUS, APULEIUS, AUGUSTINE).
