Massimo POLETTO Curriculum

Massimo Poletto is a professor of Chemical Engineering since December 2012 at the Department of Industrial Engineering where he teaches Particle Technology, Chemical Reaction Engineering and Environmental Chemical Engineering In the period January 2011-2016 he served as the Chairman of the Degree Programme Board of Chemical and Food Engineering. He has been working at the University of Salerno since 1994 as a researcher first and, in the period 2001-2012, as an associate professor of the Faculty of Engineering. Guest Professor at the East China University of Science and Technology (Shanghai / PRC) for the period April 2016-March 2018 and in the period October 2018-September 2022. Since 2018, he is a member of the Commissione paritetica Docenti Studenti (Student Professor Joint Commission) which he chaired n the Period from January 2018 to January 2021 he was chairman. Presently he is a member of the Presidio di Qualità di Ateneo (University Quality Assurance Group). Between January 2011 and April 2016 he was President of the Program Board of Chemical Engineering (ADIC-CoDIC). Since 2004 he has been a delegate of the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering (AIDIC) for the Working Party of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) on "Mechanics of Particulate Solids" of which he Chaired for two three-year mandates from 2008 to 2013. He is a member of the editorial committee and Topic Coordinator of Particle Technology of Chemical Engineering Research and Design (ChERD, www.icheme.org/journals), official organ of IChemE and EFCE. He has been based at the University of Salerno since 1994, first as a researcher and then, from 2001 to 2012, as an associate professor of the Faculty of Engineering.
